Am I the only one that has been pronouncing Dr.Xeno’s name as (Z)eno this entire time? I was surprised to hear how they pronounce it when it was first spoken in the anime lol

Do you guys like it or do you find it annoying when you’re reading a fanfic about a character that has an accent and the writer writes the characters dialogue in the most incomprehensible way possible just to emphasize the fact that the character talks with an accent?

Exhibit A: Their dialog for a British character: “Oi avv sum en to tell yuu aboot” instead of just writing “I have something to tell you about”

It’s fun to read some times but it gets confusing when they try too heavily to throw together a sentence with words that aren’t actual words just to have the reader read the characters dialogue in their accent.

My question is do they really need to put that much emphasize on the fact that the character has an accent when the character is already widely known for having an accent?

Starting to hate tumblr fanfics. It’s all smut, god everywhere I turn it’s just smut. It doesn’t even matter who the character is; smut smut smut. IM TIRED. GIVE ME FLUFF! ANGST! ANYTHING ELSE PLS. If it’s labeled angst, you bet there’s smut in there too. Fluff? Yep. That too. It’s like these writers think their fics won’t be good unless there’s smut in it.

I hate it when I see a post with a really nice fluff coded prompt yet the writer does a complete 180 and makes it really smutty. That’s all I ever see writers on tumblr do now. Everything is smut. I hardly see fluff anymore. Get it together you horny fucks.

Why do people keep headcanoning ghost as blonde? We’ve seen from the modern warfare two campaign after he took off his mask in that one scene that he’s a brunette. Or like a dirty blonde at least but all the fanart/fanfics I’ve seen that mention his hair all portray it as this bright ass blonde color. I’m confused, am I colorblind or something?😕
