How to get away with burger
Why Women Grill
The biggest step in feeling good about my transition was realizing I could make choices based on what would make me happy instead of just being Valid
I know I'm valid if I don't shave. I know I'm valid if I don't wear makeup. I know I'm valid if I dress masculine. I know I'm valid if I don't change my name.
But what if those things don't work for me? What if something else would make me feel better?
I really resent what this broad insistence on "validity" has done to affect my steps to transition. I understand the belief that someone should not *have* to go on hormones to be valid as a trans woman and I do agree with that in part, but I really resent the way that line of thinking got to me. How I knew I was trans for more than half a decade and still haven't started a medical transition, only now realizing how much I would benefit from that. Like was telling off transmeds really worth insisting that so many girls stifle themselves for so long?
Hey folks, im back on tumblr because things are rough. Im currently -100 in my bank account due to overdraft bullshit. Anything yall can donate i would greatly appreciate it. Funds go towards keeping my cat fed

in front of you there are two bottles of poison. one of them is green and is labeled "green poison" and the other is purple and labeled "purple poison".
which bottle of poison will you drink?
the green poison
the purple poison
I will not be drinking either bottle of poison
OP you forgot the both option. I'm a big girl. I can drink two whole bottles
the poll is cruel in nature, it forces you to pick between one bottle of poison or nothing at all
Excuse me I voted in this poll very early in the morning and said I would not drink either poison, may I politely request the green poison
New poll for those who are fully clear of mind
which bottle of poison will you drink?
the green poison
the purple poison
I will not be drinking either bottle of poison
I voted for green in one and purple in the other as a way of choosing both. You have been outmanoeuvred!
regular plea for people to stop using this as a reaction image
[ID: A white man in a suit who is saying, "Now this might strike some viewers as harsh, but I believe everyone involved in this story should die". End ID]
this is a real sentence that was said by a during an snl skit by the guy in the picture (norm macdonald) in response to a real news story - specifically, the murder of brandon teena, a trans man, whose death macdonald is mocking here. this very sentence that has now been turned into a meme prompted a trans rights org to picket the nbc in absence of any apology from them (the statement here slightly misquotes the sentence, but you can find video demonstrating that the wording in the image is what he said). i've used this as a reaction image in the past when i didn't know the history behind it but i think more people should know and we should stop using it like this
not fond of the scarab
I think about The Man of the Hole so often. 27 years alone. 27 years with no one to speak to but strangers to wave to. Survived a genocide, a massacre that killed everyone he had ever known and later, an assassination attempt. He still tried to warn researches about the traps he built. He was only about 60 when he died in 2022. The people who tormented him in life later desecrated his grave.

people online are on a mission to hold every single random person "accountable" in the same way as a thief in the middle ages who is about to be beheaded in the town square for stealing a tomato
sometimes, if someone makes a cruddy mistake that hurt some feelings, you don't have to make a 10 page callout doc detailing every time they were sort of a dick to you. sometimes it's okay to just block someone and talk about the situation to a close friend instead of doing this whole "hear ye hear ye" thing
Not getting a ton of reporting in US news, but the Trump administration is going after donors to Palestine, including going as far as international extradition under the guide of "counterterrorism"
Making motivational "it's never too late to transition" posts is really undercut if the age you're highlighting is still young. Claiming that your transition was late and it worked out great for you actually makes older people more afraid to transition if you're saying that shit in your 20s. How do you think a trans person in their 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s feels when you're 23 and calling yourself a late transitioner?
It's never too late until you're in a coffin. It is worth it for a single day of being yourself, even if you're 110.
Pictish drip was insane. Look at this choker:
The Whitecleuch Chain, it was found damaged in Lankshire, outside of known Pict inhabited lands but probably brought there through trade. We know it is Pictish because it features a penannular Pictish closure. It is actually a heavy solid silver chain and not a torc, though there is evidence the Picts wore torcs like other Celtic people, they seemed to be fond of chain style necklaces. This one was probably for ceremonial purposes and not everyday wear because it is so heavy. But like. Let’s imagine the sexiest chief in Pictland in 400 AD wearing this HUGE solid silver chain choker that you might see on the red carpet today.
What other animals would benefit from a hammerhead variety?
