Bl00dst4in flinches in his shared nest and curls in on himself as a particularly painful contraction hits him. For the past few days, he's been experiencing them; he and Andromeda have been expecting this. A low whimper tears from his throat and he claws at the blankets, twitching in agony. He hopes he catches someone's attention--he's alone in the nest right now.

His eyes rolled shut and he simply whined, his fans running full speed and his lower arms practically suffocating his abdomen.
"Please," he murmured. "I need....someone to turn off my pain sensors...please..."
It felt deadly, but there was a tiny part of him that was so excited, so happy that the babies were almost here.
All he could really do was whimper in response, flinching as one of the twins kicked violently. He really was trying his best to stay quiet; at least for the kids' sakes. He didn't want to worry them, but he also wasn't sure if they weren't already alerted.
Gosh, they probably were. Hopefully. One thing at a time, Andi! She had to remember to be calm right now. Just like how Blem was for her!
--
It took a minute for her to follow Titan's walkthrough on how to shut off the pain receptors but Andi managed it. She hung up on Titan with a quick victory fist pump. Yes!
Crisis averted! For how. I think I shall bring you something to help with your discomfort... Is there anything else you need? "
Blem sighed in relief as all he felt was the strange, loose pulsing between his legs--which, honestly, felt so strange without arousal attached to it. He was able to unclench his body and grab his wife's hand, pulling it to his cheek and nuzzling gently.
"I'll need water, and probably towels, and...most likely the outfits we have for the girls..." He hummed, opening his eyes and staring into hers. "And we'll need the children distracted. Maybe we can send them to Elara's?"

Blem gets regular gift baskets of food and stuff to help ease the aches and pains of pregnancy from Elara. Special joint lubricant because she knows his poor joints are under a lot of strain. A nice fluffy pillow to support his back. Some fuzzy socks. Some chocolate. Just anything he could need.
@animatronic-assistant
And oh, how grateful he is for those baskets. They truly do help, especially with how burdensome the twins are getting. In fact, it's nearly hitting the due date, so the kicks are deadly, the fatigue is terrible, and he's feeling so heavy...
Blem is starting to feel heavy and bothersome....he wants his wife..
Over the past couple of months, his belly has stretched and his body has gained extra silicone to pad his thighs. His mood has dampened and he's been holing himself up in his nest with his wife, only leaving to take food back to their shared room and to vigorously clean the house. These children have been taking everything out of him.
All Collin could remember was his mangled body being shoved through some sort of glowy-puddle-thing, and falling into the lush undergrowth of a forest. How did he know what a forest felt like? He didn't. Somehow, the information was fed into his confused processors, bouncing around in his half-empty mind. From inside, he could hear Roxas--his other half--shouting at him to move, to stand, to do something, but his limbs wouldn't work.
All the daytime attendant could remember, honestly, was a masked person coming at him with a crowbar and beating him senseless. Then, he was shoved into the...whatever-it-was, and now he was here. His HUD flickered weakly as he tried to lift his head, and his internals sparked from where they were exposed to the elements.
He was in pain.
He was immobile.
He was alone...at least he thought so...other than Roxas anyway, but the other was soft-locked inside their shared headspace, so he couldn't react to the midnight of the forest and switch out.
"S...someone...hel..help.."
Elara was awake, another sleepless night. She tried to sleep but she just couldn't. She had gone outside to sit on the porch with a cup of warm tea. Just enjoying the quiet of the night. The soft hooting of an owl and gentle chirps of the nighttime wildlife. It was peaceful... or it was until she heard some kind of thump not far into the tree line what was that?
She gets up and cautiously walks into the forest. Looking for something, she didn't know what she was actually looking for.
Hello? Is anyone-...
She gasps when she saw them. Oh dear. This looks horrible. Oh stars she won't be able to pick them up to get them inside and the others are all either out or too young to help. Wait! The jar of blank nanos!
Wait here. I will get something to help.
She sprinted back the the cabin and grabbed the large jar and some scrap metal to help feed them and give them materials to work with. She ran back with the items and dropped to her knees beside this poor broken animatronic. Stars they look a mess. She remembers being like this. Broken, hurt, scared. She stars spooning the nanites onto them and putting the scrap metal in the nanites puddle she was making on them.
It is okay. You are safe. I am going to help you. Just hold on.
The nanites are starting to work, rebuilding a few things, reestablishing some connections. She will need to get some oil for them. But right now she will stay here until they can function a little better. She lets them rest their head on her lap. Offering them some comfort.
When he heard the female voice, he'd whined pitifully, unable to tell what she looked like in the dark of the forest. He heard her fans, though, so he assumed she was an animatronic. When she ran off to "get something to help," Roxas stirred in their shared headspace.
'How are we sure she's to be trusted?' He asked his other half. Collin just gurgled in response, welcoming the sound of hurried feet as the female returned.
As the nanites were spooned onto the DCA bot, the body gave a few almighty twitches as the little things wormed their way into his systems, repairing what'd been broken and settling themselves into his frame...somewhat like a layer of muscle being added to a skeletal system. Collin didn't even register the scrap metal until he'd absorbed it all, and he keened at the loss. For the first time in his robotic life, the lithe bot was hungry. He'd never known the feeling before, and now...he did.
His pliable rays folded against his face as he turned it skywards to try and get a glimpse of his rescuer...but he didn't have Roxas' night vision.
"Who...who are you?" he asked, arms limp at his sides. "Where am I?"
Elara did her best to keep the nanites going and fueled to continue the repairs. She only had some knowledge on how to fix things. Very basic of maintenance really.
My name is Elara, you are in a forest near my home. Do not worry. You are safe now. Whatever hurt you can not hurt you here.
She grabbed more scrap metal and feed the nanites and animatronic. Judging from their reaction they have never felt this before. This hunger. She knows how strange it is. To suddenly know a sensation never before experienced. She can only try to help sooth them during this transition.
I do apologize. I am small and lack the strength to carry you so once the nanites repair you enough we will walk to my cabin. It is not far.
Her voice is gentle and soft. Caring and reassuring. Designed to keep the one she is speaking to at ease. She looks them over with curious optics. Her night vision not exactly the best but after her last maintenance they had been upgraded to be slightly better at night. Not anything as good as a nighttime daycare attendant but she can see them well enough. They look like a Sun model sort of but their rays are more like her friend Andromeda's, so not exactly your standard Sun model.
The DCA was most definitely soothed by her voice, and careful saline tears pricked at the corners of his blank white eyes as her care healed his poor, ruined body and allowed him to relax. Casing healed, endoskeleton mended, his body slowly becoming whole again...
Honestly, he looked like a twink version of Bl00dst4in, Andromeda's husband. A two-armed, two-eyed, twink DCA version, but a version no less. Didn't this universe have enough Bl00dst4in variants?
The thick parts of Collin's antennae reached for Elara's hands...just so he could get a scent on his new friend.
"Elara," he tested, his voice box crackling. His mouth didn't move with his words. "That's a pretty name."
Inwardly, Roxas crossed his arms.

you really are a slut. look at you with all those kids and more on the way.
His head tilted, rays pinning back dangerously. An eye twitched, and he protectively held his swollen tummy. "Excuse me?"
His tail snapped back and forth; gods be damned if he lets the Anons speak to him this way--no one messes with his kids.
"You'd better get the fuck out of my goddamn house."
Orion laid almost motionless on the mattress that was placed beside a couple of haybails, steam hissed from his joints as he let out a deep artificial breath. Steam would also emit from his mouth as he breathed.
A hand was placed over his abdomen while another was placed on his faceplate covering his eyes. He removed his hand from his face as more steam emitted from his joints, he stared up into the ceiling tracing the shapes of the wooden planks that made up the ceiling.
He winced as pain throbbed through his knee, his metallic teeth beared slightly. He growled as he slowly moved his knee to a more comfortable position.
It was fine this morning but nooooooo I had to go and mess with it.. Fucking idiot..
Orion thought as his wire tail thumped against the wooden floor a few times before going limp again. He had been laying on his mattress for a long time now, doing nothing.
He couldn't do anything, he could but of course his battery had almost died when he decided to try and pry that bullet out of his knee joint. So he had to stay plugged in to recharg.
The mechanical whirr of fans and other internal mechanisms would be audible, the sound of steam emitting from every joint, Crack, and opening in his casing could be heard. His rays retracted into their housings slightly out of annoyance and maybe boredom. His rays would slowly appeared out of their housings.
He had nothing else to do so he opted to just open his internals hud.
[Battery: 21%. Time till full: a day and a half]
[Time of day: 4:17 pm.]
He scanned through his hud slightly hissing at his battery percentage.
He paused as he made his way to his memory bank, he stared at it for a moment. He let out a long, tired groan as he began to make himself more comfortable. He'd grab a pillow that was placed off to the side before placing it underneath his head. He'd return to his memory bank and began to scan through said memories to play in his sleep.
His attention landed on 1 particular memory, a memory just days before the dead started to walk
Orion hesitated for a moment before sending a signal to play the memory Not long after sending the signal he slowly drifted off into sleep mode.
----------
[Memory_5681]
"Orion! Hey wake up!" An almost childish voice echoed in his audials
Orion slowly sat up with a groan, raising his hand up and rubbing the side of his faceplate, he looked down to see multiple pieces of paper scatted across a desk, said pieces of paper were either bills, taxes, or any other document that the pizzeria just refused to do by themselves.
Orion was pulled away from his thoughts as he felt his wire tail being pulled at, he turned around in his chair to see his little brother Night Feeder, his bright yellow optics practically glowed once he saw Orion awake.
"Your awake! Oh thank goodness.. I thought i'd have to either go grab HayWire or Yin to wake your ass up" Night Feeder giggled as he was still holding onto his big brothers wire tail, his own wire tail wagging in place.
Orion let out a low chuckle, he stood up stretching out all four of his arms, his joints made audible creaking sounds which made Night Feeder giggle. Orion turned back to his little brother who had let go of his wire tail at this point, Night Feeder had just opted to fiddle with his night cap.
"Whats up Night Feeder?" Orion let out an artificial yawn.
Night Feeder was basically jumping in place, the small bell on his night cap jingled as he continued to jump. His yellow optics landed on Orion again before he grabbed Orions lower set of arms attempting to drag his brother out of the small office he was found in.
"You promised you'd come out today! To hang out! Remember?" Night Feeder had a big toothy grin on his faceplate, his wire tail thumping against the cement floor.
Oh right.. I did promise that didn't I?..
Orion thought as he stared at his little brother with a smile. Orion crouched down before lifting Night Feeder up under his arms and setting him down on his shoulders. Night Feeder let out an excited chirp as he was lifted up, Orion held onto his brothers legs and Night Feeder held onto some of Orions rays.
"Well let's not waste our day and proceed with my promise shall we?" Orion began to walk out of the office but not without acting like he was going to drop Night Feeder.
The small bot that sat atop his shoulders squeaked out laughing as he was lightly being tossed around.
"Eeeee! Brother! Be careful!" Night Feeder laughed.
Orion let out a low chuckle as he picked up the pace as he walked down the hall, the hall was filled with posters of the main 4 animatronics of the pizzeria they reside in. Orion didn't stop and sneer at said posters this time as he was to busy tormenting his brother who was still laughing atop his shoulders.
The two exited the hall and entered a larger outside area, the pizzeria was closed during the night so Orion and his brothers had all the time to spend time with each other.
Night feeder ended up lightly smacking Orion in between his two main eyes still laughing. Night Feeder did this repeatedly until he decided to just cover Orions optics with his small hands, Orion slowed his pace into a stop so that they dont ram into anything.
"Haha! Alright alright!" Orion laughed, his lower set of optics had opened the moment Night Feeder decided to obscure his vision. "Night Feeder you do realize I can still see right?" Orion said with a smirk plastered onto his faceplate
Night Feeder only laughed again before he removed his hands from Orions optics "I keep forgetting you have 4 eyes!" Night Feeder wiped a small oily black tear that had began to form in one of his optics from all the laughing.
The two would take a moment to breathe and calm their internal mechanisms after pretty much running around like crazy people, Orion let out a small sigh before he resumed his walk in the pizzeria, Night Feeder still atop his shoulders just holding onto his big brothers rays.
"So, what is it you all wanted to do anyway?" Orion asked as he made it to the main stage area, the stage was pretty run down, the wood that constructed the stage was all cracked and splintered in different places.
Orion would have to fix that on a later date, or he'll fix the whole stage up or try to at least.
"Yang suggested that we either play some Mario Kart or maybe watch a movie!" Night Feeder said in a cheerful voice while his wire tail wagged in place.
Orion only nodded with a smile as he continued down a bigger hallway, Orion really had to find the time and effort to fix some of the cracks that were present in the walls.
"Heh well i'm down for anything as long as i'm with my little brothers" Orion began to act like he was again to drop Night Feeder again but quickly ceased his actions.
Night Feeder let out a squeak before letting out a multitude of laughs and giggles at his brothers actions.
"I love you Orion" Night Feeder would basically hug Orion from behind the faceplate with a big smile.
Orion retracted his rays slightly as to not accidentally poke his brother with his somewhat sharp rays. Orion smiled as he nuzzled into his brother to the best of his ability.
"Love you too brother"
---------
Orion's optics slowly came back online, he was exiting sleep mode. He slowly turned back onto his back re-adjusting the pillow under his head again.
He took a shuddering breath as he placed a hand over his optics, he peered through his fingers stating up at the ceiling again. Oily black tears had started to well up in his optics, he wiped them away before they would stain his face. He'd open his internal hud again to check the time
[Battery: 58%. Time I'll full: 12 hours
[Time: 10:18 pm.]
Jeez I really slept throughout almost the whole day..
Orion thought as he just continued to stare off at nothing. He should probably try to sleep some more, it wasn't a bad idea.
Orion sighed as he allowed his optics to close, sleep mode slowly taking him again. It didn't even last for a minute until multiple groans, gurgles, and banging on the barn doors had snatched sleep mode away from Orion.
Orion beared his sharp metallic teeth with a snarl, steam emitted from his joints out of anger.
The smell of dead livestock, crops, and human beings filled Bl00dst4in's olfactory senses as he approached the property Alex had mentioned to him. Upon his journey to Salt Lake, the human had encountered a barn and had taken a few things from the farmhouse. Apparently, though, Diseased had found him, so he'd made a quick retreat. There were things that'd be useful to Bl00dst4in's growing community in this area, so the robot figured he'd stop by.
As soon as he got close enough to see the barn door, though, he paused. A large crowd of Diseased were beating at the door, as if there was something inside they wanted. Something...living. He unsheathed his claws and bared his teeth, crouching low and padding closer.
A loud whistle left his mouth, echoing over the vast, foggy land that held the house and barn; it drew the attention of the dead.
"That's right," he muttered, grinning, "come to papa."
Orion hissed to himself as pain flared up in his knee joint, the pain didn't let up after his trip down memory lane.
Fantastic..
Orion thought slightly bearing his sharp teeth, suddenly a loud whistle had pierced his audials. Orion jumped at the noise while his wire tail lightly thumped against the wooden floor.
He turned towards the large window that could view most of the farms fields, so with much struggle Orion reached for his axe and with much struggle he hoisted himself up and made his way to the window limping.
His optics focused on the dead who were now advancing somewhere toward the fields. His rays clicked and turned slightly as he watched.
He chuckled as he sprinted toward the mass of rotting corpses, all four arms immediately tearing through soft flesh and stinking gore. He couldn't even feel the teeth that clamped onto his limbs as he moved, blurring through the battle as fast as possible.
His hoodie was stained and ripped, showing the absolute mess of a patch job his arms were.
And, of course, he was maniacally laughing. He found conflict with these sorry excuses of human remains hilarious.
Orion's optics took a moment or two to focus as they were still somewhat blurry from exiting sleep mode earlier, His optics widened at the bot charging at the diseased ripping and tearing through them like they there nothing.
His fans started to kick up a notch trying cool his slowly heating frame, his rays clicked and turned slightly as he continued to watch.
He slowly backed up away from the window, without realizing he ended up tripping over his own wire tail. Orion couldn't catch the glitched yelp that escaped his voicebox as he landed on his mattress with a quiet thump. He lost his grip on his axe as it proceeded to clatter against the wooden floor beside the mattress.
Of course, with his heightened senses, he heard the yelp and the axe hitting the floor, but he didn't have much time to focus on it. Diseased came at him left and right, and, drawn by the noise and movement, more poured forth from...somewhere. Bl00dst4in couldn't focus on where the hell they came from. He let out his own yelp as rotting teeth clamped down on his tail, and swung around to bash in the head of whatever corpse thought it a good idea.
He was struggling now, but he kept going, his battery quickly draining as the fight went on. He had to get into that barn; there was clearly another animatronic in there. He'd heard the glitch.
By the time the crowd of the deceased had thinned to a mere few, bodies littered the ground around him. He felled the last few and stood there, panting and splattered with gore.
As Orion laid there still processing how the hell he didn't fall off the loft, the others own yelp had made its way to his audials along with the following of the sound of bashing someone's head in.
He knew it was a diseased though.
Then it had went quiet. The sounds of the diseased groans and gurgling weren't present, he couldn't hear the other animatronic either; unless his hearing was also failing on him.
Orion took a moment to sit up on the loft as he let out a shaky artificial breath, the pain hadn't gotten any better. He must have put to much pressure on his leg when he tried to catch his fall when he tripped.
He peered out the large window with only the sky visible he had no idea what was going on out there or what that other animatronic was doing, he couldn't hear the diseased anymore so they must have been taken care of.
He could smell the diseased blood and gore so yeah the diseased were probably taken care of.
His breathing hitched as the door came into mind; was it locked?
No the diseased would have gotten in if it wasn't, right?
He couldn't remember if he locked the door or not now.
Bl00dst4in's tail lashed as he hastily wiped all four of his hands on his sweatpants and started toward the barn. He desperately wanted to change his clothes, but he couldn't do that until he returned home. He glanced behind him at the cart he'd brought, sitting on the road far down the hill of pasture and ruined crops, ready for supplies.
He stopped at the barn door and tried to open it, hissing quietly when he found it locked. "Look," he shouted, "whoever's in there, I'm gonna kick this door down if it isn't opened in the next minute. Not because I disrespect your privacy and hiding place, but because I need supplies for my community."
He crossed his four arms and waited.
Orions optics narrowed as he turned his gaze towards the others voice, slightly bearing his teeth with a quiet growl
Everyone needs supplies throughout this hellhole, and what's this about a community?..
Orion thought as his fans started to calm down after his sudden burst of artificial adrenaline after he tripped and fell. His rays turned and clicked as he thought weather or not to trust this animatronic, loud steam would emit from his joints as time went on
With a sigh he'd finally spoke
"There's another entrance on the side of the barn to your right; its right on the corner" He shouted so the other could hear him. His voice was somewhat deep in tone
Orions optics landed on the axe that had been dropped to the wooden floor, so he reached over and grabbed his axe, he let out a small hiss as his knee throbbed in pain as he moved.
His antennae flicked as he glanced where the voice had told him to; he could hear the low sounds of the other's pain and sense the irritation in the air. It was palpable, cloaking him like a thick fog as he shuffled over the trampled grass to the door.
"It's a wonder the Diseased didn't find this entrance," he muttered to himself, shaking his head as he turned the knob. The door opened inwards with a creak, revealing to him the sorry state of the animatronic and the messy manner of the barn. He glanced around, immediately on guard--he didn't know whether or not this other bot was hostile, did he?--and spoke.
"Well, you're a sight for sore eyes, aren't ya, sunbot?" He hadn't seen another daycare attendant-like bot since...well, since Sun and Moon. Huh. "How the hell'd you end up like that?"
Orion had his wire tail slightly curled around him in a defensive way, the large red optic in the center of his tail stared at the other, watching their every move intently.
"Wouldn't you like to know sunflower." Orion slightly hissed as his optics narrowed
He peered down at the other from the loft, he was covered in the remains of the diseased that tried to break in earlier. He was quite impressed that this other animatronic had managed to fend off and kill those diseased.
His joints creaked as he shuffled around slightly where he sat. Orion glanced away from the other with a sigh.
"Let's just say a lot happend to answer how I ended up like this." He said as he locked his rays in place with an audible click.
He hasn't talked to anyone in a while, so it was kind of nice to hear a voice that wasn't his own.
He carefully studied the other, his own four eyes flicking around to make contact with every single eye he saw. His rays twitched, and he straightened, an annoyed smile twitching across his face. 'Sunflower,' huh?
He clapped his hands together and took a step into the barn, wrinkling his faceplate at the smell of hay and machine oil. "Well, I could probably fix you up if you were to come back with me, but I don't know you."
And there are humans back at my encampment, he mentally added, noting the axe. Can't risk hostility.
Orion watched the other as he stepped into the barn
"I.. I appreciate the thought, but I am currently in no condition to walk, let alone run." He sighed as his wire tail would un curl from around him, his tail thumped lightly against the wooden floor of the loft as it went limp.
His claws lightly tapped against his casing as he sat there in awkward silence.
Might as well introduce myself?... God i suck at this..
Orion thought as he let out a low growl directed towards himself.
With a sigh he spoke "My name's Orion by the way" He leaned back against the haybail letting out a sigh before a small chirp escaped his voicebox as said haybail scooted back against his weight almost causing him to fall back.
He quickly caught himself before glancing off to somewhere else other than the direction of the other animatronic.
"I have a cart for bringin' shit back to the camp," he replied, arching an eyebrow and crossing his lower arms. "I could carry you down there and cart ya back."
At the other's name, he snorted and ambled closer to the bot, stopping in front of him and crouching down. He held out a hand. "My name's Bl00dst4in. Came from the Megaplex in Salt Lake City; set up a safe haven for humans and robots alike in a suburban neighbourhood nearby. We've got plenty of supplies for fixin' your boo-boos."
At this, he grinned, showing off his shark-like teeth. "Plus, you seem like you're a bit socially stunted. You've been alone too long. And..." he sniffed the air. "This is like a breeding ground for the Diseased--with all the damn rotting livestock."
The optic of his wire tail instantly locked onto the other moving towards him as it laid on the wooden floor, slightly twitching. His tail ended up coiling itself around his legs, mainly his left leg which still had that bullet lodged into his knee joint.
"Bl00dst4in huh? It suits ya" Orion teased slightly as he eyed the diseased blood that still stained the others casing and clothing. At that he also grinned showing his sharp teeth.
That grin faltered pretty quickly at the mention of humans, his rays slightly retracting. He hasn't had good run ins with humans at all, even before this whole apocalypse started. His grip on the axe tightened but quickly faltered.
He spoke with a sigh "I'll come with you i guess.. I wont be hostile to others if their not hostile to me." His wire tail un curled from his legs.
Before attempting to get up something came to mind as he glanced behind him at the medium sized generator that was covered in a tarp
"I'm assuming you dont want to leave without this?" He removed the tarp covering the generator and pulled it out so Bl00dst4in could see it
Bl00dst4in stared at the generator, as if a fire had been lit in his eyes. He locked onto the generator with a hungry grin. "Yeah, that'll be pretty useful 'round the camp."
As Orion went to get up, he went to help the red, white, and black sunbot, grunting with effort as he placed two hands under the other's arms. "Dude, what are you made of--lead?"
He placed one of the bot's arms around his neck and hoisted himself up, glancing back at the generator. "I'll come back for the useful stuff; I'm gonna get you down there first. That way you can help organise shit on the cart. When we get back to the community, I'll take you to my garage for repairs and have the others empty the cart."
