The absolute dogshit look of the new area on my not that old laptop compared to my just as old phone is unbelievable. It's the same view (minus me moving the camera a bit while taking screenshots). And it's not like I had the lowest settings on my laptop. I even changed them to the highest ones just to try and see how the area really looks like. And the game literally looked the same - except the character rendering and their lighting/shadows, that's the only differences I saw while playing around with settings.

I saw what it looked in the cutscene so when I got barren lands later I just knew it's fucked. No area before was as fucked like this one. Not even the Castorice's place. It had flowers. Maybe not rendered amazingly on my laptop, but it had something there. But this one. It has nothing. Where are the fucking flowers.

It was so funny when a character was talking about a "beautiful flower field" (or whatever were the words used) and all I could see was colored dirt.

I'm going to be playing hsr using scrcpy from now on. My phone's graphics on my laptop's bigger screen. Playing the game closer to what it should look like...
