depthborn:
“ yes. it would. i certainly wouldn’t live through it. “ he replied, so nonchalant about talking about his own death.
he nodded in response to the other’s observation, and proceeded down the corridor in question. he kept his ears keen on listening for any sort of talking or discussion. he could hear some sort of commotion the further he went down the hall, and made a beeline for the door all the way down. reaching it, he pressed the side of his head to the door, and could hear voices on the other side. “ it’s here. i can hear the– “ he was cut off when the door suddenly opened, and a tall, buff man grabbed him and pulled him inside, shutting the door in kuro’s face.
He knew he should be used to it by now, but it still was unnerving at times to hear Akutagawa talk so easily about his own death and while at first he would had just shrugged it off, now it was a little more than concerning. “Of course it’s the last door.”
Not bothering to check the other doors, the Servamp followed the raven close behind and stopped a few feet away when the other pressed his ear against the door.
Mouth half opened as to ask what they were waiting for, he didn’t get even a word out before the door opened and a tall and buff man grabbed his Eve before pulling him inside and slamming the door in his face.
“Just. Great.”
Not wasting another moment he grabbed onto the handle and pushed the door open with all his force in case somebody was holding it closed and looked around for the other so he could assist him in battle should need be.
