IWTV questions I am having because yes I am running at this like some kind of whump fueled xenoveterinary biologist because this is how I live my life:
Can they pop like a tick if they over-gorge? Does this kill them or do they re-knit?
What *exactly* happens if they drink corpseblood? Does it kill them fast or is it slow? Can you do a little bit and not die and just get sick? Is it like the depression blood in 2/1? Also how does culinary blood count in that regard? like I know they need to drink from a fresh live subject for nutritional value and foods that aren't that taste kinda bland/nothingy to them but what happens if they eat like a tartare with some blood or a duck blood soup? Do they get sick or die like it's corpseblood or is it different?
Speaking of the depression blood: They can clearly be affected by chemicals bc they poisoned Lestat that way it just wouldn't really kill him I guess, so how much can they be affected by what they drink? What can affect them and what can't? What do germs in the blood do? Like obviously some ambient ones must be fine but what about full on raging infections? What does lead do? What would chemotherapy blood do?
With their crazy healing powers: can things grow back wrong? Like if things aren't set right or something is shattered/pulled out weird and the fragments come out weird will they grow back perfectly or can stuff heal wonky and cause long-term pain/make them have to rebreak or whatever and try and let it come back right?
Can they ever break their fangs? Would it grow back or would they be special?
What gets changed by getting turned? Like it can clearly counteract death and some pretty bad physical damage like a burn like Claudia, but what about stuff they were born with like idk visual issues or a cleft palate or a clubfoot or a congenital amputee or something? Would it be like "weird, I have a hand now" or keep default settings?
Do the really really old ones like Armand who can go in the sun without dying still have sensitivity? Like it plainly didn't kill him but did it hurt? Does it seem super painfully bright? Does it feel way hotter than a little ray of sunlight should? Can vampires get heat exhaustion? Can they get sunburns (the nonleathal version) way faster?
How much do allergies carryover? Like I know they won't die of them now obviously, but like if they were for example allergic to blueberries as a human then turned would drinking from someone who ate a shitton of blueberries make them not feel well or have absolutely no effect?
What effect do dermal parasites have on them? Would they be more or less attractive to them because of some biology aspect or the fact that they're actively full of blood? Would they be annoying or like actually dangerous because they're siphoning the thing they need to live?
And finally: How does the spent blood exit their bodies (aka every kindergartner's favorite question: How Do They Poop?) Do they just cry it out and they sometimes do it as a normal bodily function off-camera? Does it literally all go into tissue repair so there's no waste? Is it like birds where it's all liquid? Do they pee it out? Sweat it out? Throw it up? Release a fine mist? (dramatic vampire fog anyone?). Can they get blood "constipation" with a buildup of waste product blood that doesn't have any more nutrients for them?
