why is it so difficult to convince people to watch buffy lmao, this doesn't happen to me with any other media. even people who always trust my recommendations will simply not be convinced that it's as good as it is. Maybe the title and the basic premise make people think it's just a corny vampire drama like TVD or twilight and they assume they won't be interested (and i know the dated SFX doesn't help)... and it kind of is a corny vampire drama sometimes but it's also so much more than that. ur shows and ur blorbos would be nothing without buffy. it's GOOD ok??? and yet not a single person in my life will believe me 😭

#it's also difficult to show someone a single episode #since many of the most outstanding episodes of buffy rely on the audience knowing the characters #it's like recommending a book by only showing someone a really good chapter in the middle #you can't just watch the body by itself and yet to this day it's the single best episode of television ive ever seen #it's so good that i dread watching it knowing how it will make me feel (yes i just rewatched it recently)#btvs
