The fact that Cloud gave Aerith that one last hangout she wanted, spending that precious time with her simply because she asked him not to question it. Aerith knew she was going to die, and she wanted to spend those final moments with her best friend 💔

platonic soulmates? aerith cant even get cloud to confess his food preferences to her. Soulmates? she does not know the real him. Also aerith never spoke in depth about her childhood to cloud, only tifa.

This is the wrong blog to engage with if you feel this way. I have zero interest in debating this with you, and my co-owner would have a harsher response. Cloud and Aerith are important to each other and their brief time together was limited which is what makes their friendship so tragic. They’ve been presented as important to each other in just about every piece of media they’ve been in. If you dislike this, take it up with the writers, not us.
