reminding myself again that i’m actually normal
if, for society to continue on, women must be subjugated, then it is not "humanity" that benefits. it's is men.
if women are required/forced to be: pregnant, or subservient to men, to allow for a "family structure" and a birth rate that allows for the continuation of society, then this subjugation does not benefit all of humanity; it benefits men at the direct expense of women.

I’m going to say something that might sound crazy. Suicide and suicide attempts are sort of a societal alarm bell that says “something is very wrong with the environment this individual was in.” A living being choosing to take themselves out of existence is the most extreme act of distress there is. The state stepping in to silence this alarm bell by funneling suicidal people into a state sanctioned euthanasia program, normalizing this act through a socially accepted bureaucratic system, is not a good thing. It goes hand in hand with the state’s interest in maintaining the status quo at the expense of the population and the psychiatric industry’s interest in individualizing societal problems to extract profit and aid the existing system. It’s saying “there are no complaints here, just people with sick brains, carry on.”
it does not sound crazy
Happy Pride Month! To kick off pride I'm busting some myths about the Stonewall Riots, Marsha P. Johnson, and giving some love and recognition to Stormé DeLarverie!
This was sitting unfinished for months but I got it together and completed it in time for pride.
Edit (6/12/23): I believe only the first Joseph Ambrosini photo was confirmed to be taken the first night of the Stonewall riots; I couldn't find sources that indicated if the other photos were taken on that same night or not.
theyve lost the plot for quite some time but this is new heights of complete insanity. random empty words thrown together to exploit women with beyond-overpriced slave-labor-made clothes with misogynistic marketing. "femininity" and its just subversion to the oldest misogyny.
not to mention, what the fuck are they talking about
leave their names out of your mouth omfg!!!
FYI “feminism” was coined by a TERF so i would use “non-man upliftmentism”
do you think the catholic church effectively utilized wokeness by funneling money into the colonization and rape of the americas after issuing the doctrine of discovery which effectively legalized the subjugation of indigenous peoples?
Strange town where men aren’t wanted LESBIANVILLE, U.S.A. — that’s what they’re calling Northampton, Mass., population 30,000. Some 10,000 gay women live in the area. Welcome to Lesbianville USA - a bizarre town where so many women love women you can even find them cuddling and kissing on Main Street! The place is listed on maps as Northampton, Mass., but here are just some of the reasons why it got its nickname: • Some 10,000 gay women live in the town or nearby. • The newspaper publishes announcements of same-sex engagements and “commitment” ceremonies on the same page as weddings. • A popular lingerie shop hosts an annual lesbian night. • One book shop sells “Just Say No to Men” buttons. It also has a lesbian fiction section and a sign telling men to browse elsewhere. • In bars and restaurants, women hold hands across cozy tables and dance cheek-to-cheek. • A monthly newspaper lists events such as a lesbian town meeting, plus get-to-gethers for older lesbians and “Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays” • About half the town’s 245 businesses are owned by women, although not all are lesbians. • There’s a yearly Lesbian Home Show - where men are NOT welcome. • Even the graffiti is gay! On a railroad overpass near the center of town someone painted: “Fern & Lisa 4-ever”

I love how we are supposed to think that men have a monopoly on logic and rationality when one of their favorite problem-solving strategies is “kill my entire family and then myself”
and women are peak empaths yet somehow they cannot foresee/prevent their husbands committing suicide out of unhappiness
it must suck to be so much more statistically violent that the best you can do for a female wrongdoing equivalent to “total family annihilation through cold blooded murder” is “fails to stop husband from killing himself”
The people who insist AI is smarter than a human are doing their fucking damnedest to manifest that
As a principled feminist I'm often tempted to say shit like "are men capable of higher thought" but then I have to remember not to perpetuate gender essentialism and change it to "why do men choose not to think about anything"
you can't criticize anything here without some dumbass saying "look it might be weird but its not wrong. gay people are weird, do you hate them too?" and its like, their default argument.
to add on to my longpost as an added side effect in our attempt to normalize mental illness i feel too many people have developed a sense of learned helplessness. you are in control of your life and you can make the choices to be better. Btw. with the exception of extreme circumstances out of your control the only thing holding you back is you. your mental diagnoses (neurological/neurodevelopmental exempt) are not permanent. i dropped out of high school due to an extreme anxiety disorder and it ruined my life for years and i just like, don’t have anxiety anymore. you are not trapped!!! be active make the change!!
i used to be so mentally ill i couldn’t leave my house without having a panic attack so i KNOW what it’s like to be in such an awful place and have people tell me shit like this, it feels annoying and unhelpful because it all feels so heavy and uncontrollable. but i literally promise if you take it step by step you can get out of it. it’s a long but rewarding process to be able to live

It has been over a year. I did not know what Bluey was before I made this post. I am not going to watch Bluey because of responses on this post. Also, I wanted to let all you guys know that Bob the Builder teaches us all lessons about construction equipment in a way no other show does, making it far more meaningful and important than what 99% of vapid adult programming has to offer. Can we fix it? “Yes we can,” says Bob the Builder - an inspiring message and one far more meaningful for our times than any tragedy (ew) Shakespeare could ever write.
