Me and my awful health against the world🤌
(I'm not having a great time lately, but it could be worse)
the hero of the sky has wildly unmanaged adhd
Sky was in knight academy but was never knighted, didn't finish knight training, and wasn't good at knight training. Well, he was really good at the practical aspect- he picked up fighting and flying skills quicker than anyone else, he could adapt to new situations in the blink of an eye, he was a menace in tabletop battle simulations. He was the one to talk to if anyone needed help or had a problem to solve.
Really, he was the most capable knight in his cohort. This was not reflected in his assessments.
He lived with the dichotomy of talent and disappointment. Of knowing how to do his academic work, but being somehow unable to do it. Everyone thought he was doing fine, but his soul hurt from living as a walking contradiction, from never achieving as much as he knew he could. It took literally saving the world to convince Sky that he wasn't a failure.
Sky has a great mind for strategy, diplomacy and problem solving. He's very good at applying his knowledge to practical situations. He silently runs Warriors's plans over in his head to check for oversights.
He's known for being a sleepyhead because someone in knight academy told him that coffee helped them focus, so he started drinking it excessively, but caffeine actually makes him sleepy. He is yet to make the association.
I've said before that they are cottagecore and goth coded to me, so here they are in their full glory
I didn't want to draw a background so I took a photo that I had in my camera roll (my siblings will definitely recognize the place lol)
I really didn't put much effort into this piece and it shows
Daily fact 28:
Link's propensity for sleeping in other Skyloftians' beds with little to no fuss speaks volumes about the type of open, familiar society Skyloft is. Virtually any conclusion could be drawn from the fact: the swapping of beds could be a societal custom, but since Link is the only person seen using another's bed, one could just as easily presume he is an exception, due to being orphaned or raised by the entire island or something equally tragic.
Ultimately, since Skyward Sword is the only 3D Zelda game to not implement a day/night cycle, Link sleeping is a useful device to explore both sides of Skyloft while avoiding a nighttime setting on the Surface. This has the side effect of propagating the headcanon/inference that Skyward Sword Link is not only the original Hero's Spirit, but the source of every Hero's chronic sleepiness.
skyward sword link is prrooobbaably an orphan. but don't worry guys, he has obtained a mom (it's a sword)
EHEHEEHEHEHEHEHEEH
guess who finally got batteries for their pen? >:3
My honest reaction btw:
Sooo..part 2 of "Sky stealing Wild's clothes because that's what a good, annoying older sibling does"
It's becoming my favorite thing so far (-v-;)・・・
BUT, lets just say she didn't have much luck this time.

Consider; The Chain figures out Demise’s Curse before Sky tells them
Yknow I really do love the idea of Sky figuring out what happened with Demise’s Curse and quietly keeping it to himself
Like consider a world where theres a heart to heart but Sky still doesn’t mention it. Everybody’s secrets are coming out in appropriately emotionally-charged moments, all the usual fic tropes are happening. Yet, Sky mentions Ghirahim and time stones and, eventually, Hylia’s incarnation as Sun. But Sky never speaks the name Demise.
But! In the comic Sky’s expressive face betrays him whenever the Chain talks about Ganon/Ganondorf. What if the Chain started picking up the pieces themselves?
They know he fought someone, like Four fought Vaati. But unlike Four, Sky doesn’t ask about possible remnants or if the chain recognizes any symbols. It’s almost like Sky is the one recognizing something. Which is crazy, because he’s probably the first in the timeline. So what, or who, could Sky possibly recognize?
Maybe it didn’t stick out at first that Sky didn’t fight an evil boar monster/evil man, but Sky’s journey, once expanded upon, is filled with gods and demons and natural powers beyond mortal control. Even without hearing the whole thing, a villain like the yiga clan or even some ancient Gerudo king wouldn’t have fit into it. And Ghirahim is more the same type of villain as Cia or Vaati. But he’s the follower. So what did Sky fight for his final battle? What is stronger than a demon lord? A mad time sorceress? An ambitious man turned eldritch beast?
I like the idea of the Chain maybe betting on it at first, being all light-hearted and joking about Sky fighting an ancient dinosaur lizalfos or something. But then, because they’re paying attention now, they start noticing more. The sorrowful looks, the averted eyes during discussion of Ganon, the guilt that flickers sometimes like a strike of lightning on an otherwise harmless field.
Very slowly, the Chain puts together the pieces that something happened at the end of Sky’s adventure. And although he won, something about The Chain, the other Links, is hollowing that victory.
Anyways, it’s a fun concept
HURRY, SOMEONE WRITE A FANFIC OF THIS QUICKLY!!
