Anyway,

Do you want to watch a silly streamer who plays good games and hangs out with his loving community?? I bet you do!

I introduce to you, MikeyScamp, aka Mike Lebeau!

You might recognise this Mike Lebeau, as he is the VA of Tim Stoker in the Magnus Archives! He voices in various other podcasts, he's cool like that. Go check it out, this man is a VA legend!

Mike has played various games like Powerwash Sim 2 (with the community), the Sims, Inscryption, Fran Bow, Undertale, various horror games during Horror Jail which I'll elaborate in a second, DokiDoki Literature Club, Date Everything, retro games, Brotato, Celeste, the list goes on!

Horror Jail is an annual Halloween tradition in which the community puts Mike in "horror jail" for the whole month of October. He'll play any horror game he's found or has been recommended to, and we watch in enjoyment how he suffers through the gameplay! /silly (don't worry he's okay)

Mike also does chill just chatting streams in which he's even more interactive with chat than he already is! We helped him build (and deepthroat--) his Christmas tree for example!

Finally, the community he's built is magical to be apart of. Everyone is so lovely and I've truly made so many new friends 🥹 Mike and his community are incredibly loving, open and accepting of whoever you are, whatever you identify yourself as, and it matters not where you come from. We're built up of people from all over the world!!

Theres a few fandom takes I dont agree with but two that lowkey piss me off are that Basira is an enabler and a hypocrite

Now sure maybe im a bit biased but heres the thing. Daisy is a superior officer to Basira. Not just that, but is pretty much the only support Basira has within the police force. And Basira is a woman of color, possibly muslim. And she quits the policeforce in s2. Im not sure if calling her an enabler is fair with these things considered, as, again, im pretty sure Daisy is a superior oficer. Even if Basira had called it out or tried to do smth, it wouldnt've helped (plus Daisy was actively hiding from her some of her killings, mag61). PLUS in s3 the minute Basira thinks that Daisy is actively hunting down John she runs to save him (without this action he'd be dead. I wouldnt call that enabling). Sure, she couldve done more, but its not like she Could do much more (in my opinion)

Then the same people call her a hypocrite because of the way she treated John vs Daisy in s4 which to me is... hypocrotical? Like. If she was enabling Daisy through inaction in s2, then her reaction to John becoming an avatar in s4 should be redeming. She calls him out and tries to get him to stop being Eldritch. At this point in the story Daisy has stopped being part if the hunt and is supressing those feelings, so Basira expects John to follow suit. Theres not much she can do in this scenario, shes still relatevely powerless, but she takes action and is still reprimanded for it by some people?

Obviously everyones allowed to have their own readings, but i wanted to express mine because i think Basira is quite the missunderstood character and doesnt have as many fans or love as she deserves considering how interesting her character is

So pleased to finally present my contribution to the @let-it-snow-zine! This time, I decided to go out on a limb and render the whole comic in natural media. So for fellow art nerds interested in what I used to draw this, this is all Pitt Pens, Copic Markers, and Prismacolor Pencils on Bristol paper (with lettering done digitally). [EDIT: AND A WHITE ACRYLIC PAINT PEN FOR THE SNOW! 😅]

Galadriel "El" Higgins and Orion Lake.

I'VE FINISHED IT!! I ESCAPE THE ART BLOCK!! I was really tempted to not finish this drawing before doing the render, but once I started I fell in love with it! My plan was to draw the background, but instead I decided to use a photo to adjust and modify it a bit and made it fit with El.

Also, I reeaaaally like the tiny design of Orion, I didn't plan on doing it but yeah, I love it! Hope you like it as much as I do
