In all seriousness, the answer varies depending on people's interpretation of the Reader and their relationship with their Yandere.

Romantic or Platonic, long or short term, and even how quickly or far the yandere takes their actions. But ultimately the Reader does not end up reciprocating the Yandere's obsessive-possessive affection and tries to get away from it. Much like how a person would distance themself from a toxic individual in real life, just taken to an extreme.

"How would the Reader get away from the more powerful yanderes?"

Final girl plot armor, horror game protag savviness and the power of common sense. The golden rule to Horror Protag! Reader, is that they will win and survive at the end of the day. Whether it be by escape or always having a one over the yandere even when trapped.

What makes them different from an Overpowered Reader?

They don't have to exactly be a deity to get out of situations. They are usually genre savvy and not outright helpless in these scenarios. Reader also has enough sense not to do dumb things can be seen in my memes and quotes post(s)

Someone or something acting weird? GTFO or prepare for confrontation pro-actively. You have free will do something instead of cowering in a corner. Escaping a country or area? Keeping their ass OUT of that place. No "I think the heat died down/the yandere must have moved on by now", just staying out of the splash zone. If someone is helping them? Reader helps them back and doesn't go. "I feel like a prisoner in this safehouse and I want to go do something in public". They plan and use their brains. Being stalked? Listening to their gut and not isolating themselves. None of that "it must have been a concidence" or "Must have forgot about X" stuff that they typically use to dismiss weird events Or they don't tell their loved ones when they try to move on. Letting the yanderes to essentially have a backdoor to their new lives because they can control the narrative of their shared past.

Could you write a Yandere Leon fanfic, discovering that the reader is secretly dating one of the killers? How would the reader react and what would they do with this information…?

Okay but here is the thing. This is not exactly a fic but here is how I would think this whole thing would go down.

Yandere! Leon is unhinged and obviously not much better option in this context regarding the Reader. He is manipulative and has his own abusive habits like all yanderes do.

But dating on of the Killers in a DBD setting period? Valid crashout. I too would be locking the person away in a basement because the fuck you mean you are making out with the guys that are regularly torturing and killing us?! Lmao.

Though it would heavily depend on if the Reader is a Survivor or a Killer.

Survivor

You are not getting away with this one chief. You are bound like everyone else to the campfire outside of the brief moments you can sneak away on your romantic rendezvous with the Killer.

In this case having a group of people works to the advantage of the yandere. Leon just has to expose you to the whole group and now you are barred from seeing your S/O due to well, you are DATING a KILLER

DBD Survivors of the campfire will be split into two distinct reactions:

The "We need to keep them away from the Killers because they are being manipulated into thinking they care about them!" -Headed by the likes of the more empathetic or hopeful survivors of the pool.

And the "This person is either a traitor or completely delusional. Regardless, they need to be kept a close eye on or we need to lock em' up before they end up making our lives more hellish for their partner." - A sentiment shared by many other more pragmatic or cynical members of the group, who sees an unpredictable wildcard that went behind everyone's back.

While Leon will play the role of 'reasonable middle ground'. He would agree that the Reader is being taken advantage of by the Killer they are dating but also needs to be 'supervised' by someone (Him- cough) to esnure that they don't come into contact with their s/o outside of trials. Trapping you with the Entity's group rules and by survivor solidarity that is expected by the campfire group.

Can't argue, can't run, and if you push back too hard then you essentialy become another Taurie Cain in their eyes. Making you really isolated from the group, and when you are inevitably starved for human interaction outside of pitying looks and harsh glares? Leon swoops in as the one person that still believes in you and the only person willing to give you as many chances to prove yourself to the group no matter what. Just break up with your killer s/o darling, it is a losing game from the start. They don't love you like I do. Aren't I the better option? I don't run around slashing people and sticking them into meat hooks for a dark ritual- why do you like, them? What do they have that I don't?!

Killer

Apex predator in this scenario. You have the freedom and power to get away with this along with not having to care as much for your peer's opinion over your partner choice.

Leon's obsession would be more centered around jealousy and using trials to get your attention. He will literally opt to be the main looper of the group just to get your attention, he will body block the other survivors or outright let them get downed so that he can have one on one time.

A lot of love-hate in this relationship. Leon loves the reader for who they are but hates them for what they do and represent. In his eyes dating a fellow killer shows signs that the reader needs to be 'saved' from themself before the Entity corrupts the 'last bit if their humanity!'

Delusionally thinking that he can help Killer! Reader from their predicament by intergrating them into a Survivor adjacent role in the trial to the point the Entity will strip them of their "Killer" status and turn them into a "Survivor".

Or a scarier alternative: Entity feeds on strong emotions -> Yandere! Leon has very strong emotions regarding the Reader -> Entity decides to add gasoline and fan the flames of obsession -> Leon becomes a Killer that revolves around obsession hunting and isolation tactics -> Welcome to the fog: "The Groom"

For the yandere dbd idea, I think everyone being an obsession during a round with a killer is funny.

It's like a scooby doo chase scene except with much more things at stake (namely freedom and getting away from clingy killers).

If i could request at one or two killers id want to see the most with this idea is either springtrap or xenomorph.

It IS a Scooby doo chase scene if it is all the survivors in one trial. For them it is wrangling misbehaving children. For the people being chased? Psychological horror where every sacrifical play or attempt at blocking the killers doesn't end in anger but with an equal obsession that they ended accidently drawing attention to on themselves. He IS a father in canon (Not a good one though) so I would imagine that he would be trying to take a paternal or uncle-like roles in front of the younger survivors.

Mainly because he fits the more 'general yanderes' section of the Killers since he lacks a proper counterpart from FNAF to be obsessed with.

With the older ones, he would either be like an overly friendly neighbor or work colleague that acts like they are a family friend. Nosy, somehow knows more about you than you know about them, and casually cheerful to the point of it being borderline and outright patronising.

His Entity given delusion makes him act like his chases are more like a friendly but deadly game of tag mixed with hide and seek, at a family barbecue. Getting caught means being tied to that metal execution device, not to kill you but keep you in your 'party seat' for a birthday party.

Xenomorph

This is one i a bit tricky, but I do believe that the Xenomorph would be more like an attack dog and sheepdog sort of thing to it's favoured survivors.

But it is more of the type of attack dog you accidently get by being nice-to-a-deadly-wild-animal-and-it-refuses-to-leave-you-alone, sort of thing.

No training and you have very little control over it. It acts on it's instincts and whims. You aren't getting hurt but the terror even being hoarded by a space apex predator is very prevelant there.

That being said, Ripley would be the main victim for it's attention. Essentialy having to deal with being corraled like a sheep into what the alien deems 'safer areas'. Treating her with the reverance of a queen but with the atitude of a warden.

This type of yandere can either disrupt team comp by herding away a survivor or acting like an agressive sentinel towards everybody but it's obsession. Viewing them as a threat to be eliminated for the safety of their darling.

Heard you loud and clear boss! Horror protagonist reader is a master of noticing shit and decidely not wanting to get involved in crazy people (Yanderes-ahem)

They have something called 'awareness and basic common sense'. Whenever Ada pulls something in their social life, they don't go:

"Oh, woe is me. My friends are distant / my family isn't calling anymore".

They get down and investigate the cause. If there is none, then they get suspicous. They live in a world of bioweapons in Resident Evil, being dumb is a sure way to get turned into or eaten by a monster. Although how easy it is depends on the reader's status: civilian, soldier, experiment, etc.

The challenge is that Ada is a competent spy and fighter. Taking her down would require: outside support and taking advantage over her flightiness.

Support can include: folks like Chris or Leon. Who knows what is up with Ada and wouldn't tolerate yandere behavior. Or even becoming a more active member of your community, Ada wants to isolate you and steal you away without anyone looking. Make doing that as hard as you can.

Flightiness: Ada is a busy woman and her job dictates a lot of field work, with risks. That means you will be left alone a lot whenever she is called to work. Yes, she will restrain and remotely moniter you. Or perhaps even drug you, but that is still enough time to ravel your thoughts and think of a plan. You can't convince her to let you go, but feed into the paranoia abit over your safety if something happens to her. Make sure to abort if she starts trying to stay over more often and instead plant the idea that a backdoor is needed incase of an emergency. Frame it as her idea and then sabotage it when it is implemented. or the alternative: The Reader is also competent in espionage and fighting. (Horror Protag! Reader is a bit of a power fantasy where you can actually stand on your two feet during a yandere encounter without it being a complete victory for the yanderes).

Honestly im most interested to see your take on laurie and Michael's relationship here in the obessed killers au.

Okay, so. Canonically they are siblings in one timeline. So I was mainly drawing on that idea for Michael and Laurie in this au still having that connection. The curse being twisted by the Entity to wanting to kill her but wanting to keep her. Along with drawing upon his complicated relationships with his family in general. Just something I was exposed to first before the newer stuff and alternate realities.

How aware Laurie is depends on the Entity's whim and what point she was taken from the timeline.

Although this can also be easily just a platonic fixation from what he views as a 'pure soul' of sorts due to the Fog's influence. Laurie is a good and responsible person even remains that in the face of mortal danger.

But honestly? I just think it familial or self assigned body guard because of how their first movie happened and the ones that occured after that from each timeline. Hence, it is more open ended/interpertation.

Lovesick Trials Survivors

The Survivor's awareness of the trials vary, depending on the mood of the Entity and how long they have kept their memories. This awareness can be given and taken away at any time if the Entity's whim, but some people managed to figure that out and made journals and notes that piece together what is going on in the new trials.

Cue the reactions of horror, confusion, disgust and dread from all around the campfire. Then the strategies and taking action in the trials, which are not too different from what they do already.

Some may try to use this development and attempt negotiate with the yandere to letting everyone go free if they sacrifice themself, this has varying results.

A common tactic is to string the killer away from the others, close only to be seen or heard but far enough that the killer can't catch them.

Others will become more protective, acting like a wall between the killers and their fellow survivors. Shielding the obsession the best they can and is entirely unwilling to sacrfice anyone at all, even themselves. As they refuses to let The Entity and the yandere killers get any possible satisfying win.

A rare few would use the yanderes as a get out of pain-and-agony-free card. Sometimes willing to screw over some their fellow survivors to live another trial or as a distraction to get the everyone else out if a trials goes sideways.

Regardless of one's tactics, an agreement is made between all the survivors: No matter who ends up being the object of a yandere's affection, the others have to do their best to sabotage the killer's performance so the Entity doesn't allow for them to take anyone away for a solo trial or "to play house" with their respective yandere.

Brief Moments: The Prince In Green

D3rlorde shifted under the weight of his armour. It still felt surreal to be merged(?) with his Minecraft skin. He was still flesh and blood and certainly not made out of cubes and rectangular prisms, but he is now taller than he was before and a lot more muscular as well to fit the physique of a proper knight.

He wondered if the others were just as lucky, he was pretty fortunate that his in-game skin was compatible with his human body, with little to no modification require- body modification. Wait. If he didn't get a say in this, granted he was dying, did anyone else get one as well?

The Prince In Green is, for a lack of better word, odd. Actually there are many more refined ways to describe the being but, odd is what it all comes down to.

By all logic The Prince In Green should not exist. The King in Yellow should have taken Avery as a vessel and gone out to bring the end times to Earth or whatever else he was planning, instead there is a being that is driven by the desires of both of sides.

The Prince holds the world within it's (their? his?) unyielding and possessive fist, but it is also gentle. People have the freedom to live a semi-normal life under The Prince's reign.

Adults still went to work and honed their hobbies or whatever else they do in their spare time, children still go to school to learn and play with their friends, but everything still has this taint to it. Beings that shouldn't be possible accoring to their reality's laws walked among them, events that would have been attributed to fiction are now very real. The definition of normal has been stetched to the point that Derek can't help but wish he deleted that world when he had the chance, hell even hurled that cursed laptop off the side of building.

The child either couldn't see or didn't care about the entity intently watching over him, too captivated in the trinket and what possible secrets it holds.

Derek felt sick to his stomach, with many questions that are spinning in his head. Why is he here? Why did The Prince take him away? Why at such a young age? What happened to his mom? Is she alright? What happened to the Avery of that universe?

The knight swiftly turns on his heel and flees the scene as fast he can. Heart pounding painfully in his chest, he shouldn't watch anymore. Lest he accidently upsets The Prince by grabbing the kid in an attempt to what?

To protect his younger self?

Shield him away from a danger, what danger can there possibly be?

The Prince would never allow harm to befall the child, not from itself and certainly not from any outside sources.

Or was it to satisfy his curiosity that still eats away at what little he has left?

Lovesick Trials Relationships: Killers

Most killers will typically go after the survivors that came from their respective world or, if they have multiple, the ones they are typically associated with: Michael and Laurie, Trickster and Yun-Jin Lee, etc. As there is usually some sort of connection between the killer and survivor that makes it easier for The Entity to manipulate the killer's feeling towards the survivor.

This is especially true with killers like Pyramid Head, Wesker and Michael Myers for example, as those three would only go after the survivors from their respective worlds for different reasons.

Pyramid Head pursues James Sunderland due to the very nature of it's existence is being his punisher, this can go many ways as The Entity can alter the parameters of the punishment to a degree.

Albert Wesker only has fixation with the former S.T.A.R.S agents and the people who got in the way of his plans back in their universe Chris, Leon, Claire, Ada and Sheva. So he just wouldn't care for the other survivors, believing them to be unworthy of his attention and energy outside of the mandatory tasks of the trials.

Michael Myers is already canonically obsessed with Laurie Strode because she is either his sister or 'the one that got away', except this obsession is a little less murderous than it is in canon.

On the other hand, not all killer obsessions are set in stone, variations can occur depending on the lore of a character and whether or not they have a set survivor.

For instance, the Huntress's obsession would alternate between survivors like Cheryl, Nancy, Mikaela, etc. Basically anyone who could fit in with her lore of kidnapping young girls because she wants to raise a little one herself. Meaning that most of her yandere relationships would typically fall into a platonic/familial catagory.

Another would be how the original four killers (Trapper, Nurse, Wratih, Hillbilly) would alternate or share the original four survivors (Dwight Fairfield, Meg Thomas, Claudette Moral, Jake Park) due to how long they have known each other within The Entity's realm. While they could go after the different survivors and other killers are allowed to go after the Dwight and the gang, but they typically gravitate towards the four that have been with them the longest in the Fog.

Alternating obsessions also decreases the chance of 2 vs 8 trials as The Entity has to be careful on who gets paired up as it is possible that a survivor can get multiple yanderes at a time. Which doesn't last long due to the amount of infighting it could cause over an extended period of time and the fact that The Entity also wants to have at least one yandere per survivor. So no one is safe from being so adored? and loved, surely that is a better alternative to being killed all the time isn't it?

Platonic Yandere TWST! Third and Second Years

A while back I remember seeing a TWST platonic yandere post talking about how the nrc students would be towards each other, not just Yuu.

That got me thinking about platonic yandere! second and third years for the first years and what are their chances are getting away relatively unscathed. Mainly the dorms for their respective first year.

The Best Possible Chances (In trouble but manageable) Ace and Deuce Epel and Jack Ortho and Sebek The Worst Possible Chance (Doomed from the start)

Ortho and Sebek wouldn't even consider the chance or have a chance of getting away. They are too closely connected to powerful individuals and have no way keep hidden in the long term.

Ortho: Idia's beloved little brother, Ortho would never try to leave Idia and it wouldn't even be possible as Idia MADE his body and programmed his software. Which are confirmed in canon to have trackers. Not to mention STYX is a worldwide secret organization that has so much firepower that trying to hide from it would be next to impossible.

Sebek: His loyalty and adoration for Malleus would never allow him to abandon his duties to the future king of Briar Valley. An advantage Malleus would use to no end, afterall Sebek is already Diasmonfam's so there is not a lot do outside of making sure that Sebek isn't going to harm himself by accident. Sebek with his unquestioning mindset would be the easiest to isolate for Lilia if there were some people that he deems a bad influence. The only person he could realistically fight would be Silver. Then again, why would Sebek do that outside of sparring matches?

Jack and Epel are in the middle as they both have connections to some very powerful people but, they are not too directly related to them in the same capcity as Ortho and Sebek. The main issue lies is that regardless if whether or not they are able to catch on to what their upperclassman are doing, the question still remains on how deeply intangled they are in the web.

Epel: Vil and Rook, one has immense influence outside of Night Raven College as an influential celebrity that can trap Epel socially and the other is a professional stalker that can track anyone anywhere. Both are able to subtly entrench themselves in Epel's day-to-day life in such a way that if someone were to observe with a more critical eye, it would look they are just being "a bit overbearing of his wellbeing". Fighting back is laughable as both seniors have are stronger than the first year and let us face it, even if Epel won that win it would just signal the two to be more forceful instead of actually having them back off.

Jack: Leona is easily the more dangerous of the two, mostly due to his princely status and cunning nature. A lot of of his intentions can be disguised as him just being a semi-helpful hardass towards Jack, who he knows still looks up to him to a degree, and he is able to pull more strings in Jack's life outside of school especially influencing Howl's career path. Ruggie on the other hand, doesn't have much power outside of school. So he takes advantage of Jack's good nature and heardheadness, isolating him from other members of the drom whenever possible and stalking to gather info for himself and Leona.

Ace and Deuce are the highest, as their upperclassman don't have much power outside of school as the others on the list. However, that doesn't make them any less dangerous as the others they can alternate their approaches to the duo and even . Although lets face it, the Brain Cell Duo would probably not pick up even half of the red flags unless one of their seniors severely slips up. It is 50-50 on whether or not collaring increases or is used more sparingly.

Ace: Is the troublemaker and most slippery of the two, he naturally pushes back from authority and would become suspicious pretty quickly if he feels like his upperclassman are too overtly controlling. He would probably be the one to pick up on the general weird vibes yanderes usually have but mostly due to ego or the fact that he can be pretty dumb in his own right at times as well, he would eventually mess up by either blowing up over the seniors or trusting one at the wrong time. Like eating a special made pastry from Trey or saying his suspicions outloud in earshot of Cater or his clones.

Deuce: Deuce's overeager nature and desire to prove himself worthy of becoming an honour student makes him a bit more malleable towards the seniors manipulations, he also has a lot of respect for Riddle, Trey and Cater. However, Deuce is also a rough figure due to his delinquent past and his physical prowess is nothing the scoff at, which may make him more volatile than Ace if provoked and make more dangerous decisions in an attempt to circumvent his dorm yanderes. So Trey and Riddle most likely take center stage as mentors to him, Riddle academically and Trey being the one that soothe Deuce's temper. While Cater would occasionally poke at him to see how aware of their machinations he is.

Horror Protag! Reader x Yandere

I'm thinking about a capabale Reader who is VERY fed up with all the yandere nonsense that is going on around them.

Reader knows what the yanderes are and no matter how handsome, rich, charming, etc, that they may be. None of those "attributes" can compensate for the loss of freedom and loved ones to the Horror Protag! Reader.

Reader has the plot armour of a Final Girl, they will always triumph and get away in the end. Even if the antagonist hasn't been arrested or killed, and could come back. Reader will always kick their ass and/or escape.

They also have skills and abilites of a horror game protagonist. I'm talking about being insanely resourceful to the point that picking up some junk that will turn out vital for escape and somehow having so much pocket space for the amount of items they pick up. In addition to having a ridiculous amount of energy and dexterity as horror protags can almost perfom any physical task well, they also are able to walk off most of drugs and injuries with relative ease.

Horror Protag! Reader may be in a situation where it could be considered hopeless to many, but they have been in worse scrapes than this and will be damned if they let some lovesick fool get the better than them.

The Prince In Green's Influence

As D3rlord3/Derek is destined to end up at those doors in every timeline no matter what, this means that The Prince In Green is bound to be created multiple times too. Although it doesn't always go the same way.

Sometimes the Prince In Green is the one that Derek sees behind the yellow green doors. Avery ended up gettting there first, whether it be by pure accident or by the influence of the Prince who is waiting to exist in that reality.

In more rare cases there is no Avery or Hatsur, only The Prince In Green, never in seperate being/parts to begin with. This can result in Derek ending up at the gates at much earlier than he did in the original timeline. Sometimes at very young age, which can sometimes end very darkly if the Prince In Green decides to snatch him up right then and there.

Imagine you are his mom and letting your kid play this seemingly harmless game called Minecraft. Then suddenly you start to hear some mysterious voices coming from his room. Panic sets in because why is there an unknown someone the trying to talk with your kid, so you rush to his bedroom to check on your him only to find either:

An eldritch entity that is in you kid's computer trying to coax him to joining him and being exposed to an overwhelming influence that you may not have the protection for.

Your son is missing entirely from his room and you can't find him anywhere else in the house despite your frantic searching. Not knowing that your child got whisked away to another plane of reality by a being that decides that they can do a better job at taking care of your child.

The Prince In Green @ Everyone Else

For the most part The Prince In Green is a mostly neutral entity towards humanity.

Meaning that while The Prince does have the whole world under it's thumb, he is not actively malacious towards his subjects. Although people do pray to him, nations give tribute, religions about worshipping the Green Prince pop out everywhere.

The only thing real bad thing that happened to them is a reality overhaul where the line between the real universe and unreality are blurring. Leaving people in a world that is familier yet seems to now take an inspiration of dreamcore and a dash minecraft-like magical realism.

Yandere DBD Idea

The Entity gets a bit bored of feeding off solely from the same old trials. Deciding to try the type of pain and horror that comes from being chased and trapped by someone that doesn't want to kill you but keep you.

Influencing the killers to become more affectionate and possessive towards the Survivors. This obsession can vary between each survivor and per trial as types of love range between romantic and platonic.

Trials grounds are altered to become more like an escape room and the sacrificial ritual hooks are changed to shackles of some sort.

Items and abilities are also changed to fit the theme better as well. Syringes filled with drugs, tampered healing items, obsession based perks, etc.

Survivors having to contend with their yandere constantly coming after them while also stressing about wellfare of their teamates.

The potential scenarios are:

Everybody is the Obsession and have to play an elaborate game of playing keep away where the attention of the killer have to be juggled between all of them.

One person or two if it is 2v8, is the Obsession and it is up to the team has to work on escaping as the killer thinks the others are trying to "steal" their darling.

Another incentive is that if the Entity is pleased enough, then it will allow for a killer to keep their survivor for a little bit to play house before everything is reset.

Heck if a killer peforms adequately enough times then some memories would not be erased and they could have their own one-on-one personalised trial with their chosen darling survivor.

Essentially adding love in all it potential twisted glory as a new ingredient for the cocktail of emotions The Entity feeds off.
