Social media is a very powerful tool which we could do so many things with. Social media can be used to shed light on situations that are left in the dark and bring justice. One of these things being the Black Lives Matter movement. Everyone saw the video of George Floyd being horribly mistreated by the cop who ended up taking Georges life. If it wasn't for the viral video, who knows how this would have been taken care of. It would have been swept under the rug and no one would have seen this horrible tragedy. This caused protests to spark WORLD WIDE. While social media can be used to shed light on horrible situations, it can also be used in a negative way, Trolls are people who willingly comment on peoples posts and pictures negative things. They usually do this for no reason and just to mistreat a person. This can cause the user who is being bullied to become depressed and in worst cases take their own life. We have to be careful with what we post and to watch our language.
