Shadow Milk (Sullivan) Genshin Voice Lines
Welcoooome~! Welcome! You’re just in time for the show! I, Sullivan, your humble jester of the courtroom, will be your entertainment to— Oh, it’s you. No admission fee for you. Can’t put a price on your reactions to my illusions!
Ugh, this place feels so dead. Perhaps a trick or two can liven it up~
My Mirror said there would be something interesting here. Did it lie to me…?
I wonder what’s playing next at the opera house.
Aww, I wonder who upset the dear Sovereign this time~
Hmph. Someone is trying to show off her stolen power…
Brrr! Let’s find shelter before I become an ice sculpture! Hehe, just kidding~! I’m no stranger to the cold.
Tch… Not a cloud in the sky. How…annoying.
I thought the Anemo Archon was one of the nicer ones! What gives?!
Whoa, whoa, WHOA! You’re not really still bitter enough to kill me, are you?!
Wakey, wakey~! You’re quite the sound sleeper, you know~ And I just happened to procure a marker in the middle of the night~ Take a look in the mirror and behold my masterpiece!
O-oh, fancy seeing you here! No, I was NOT on my way to the library! I was…going for a swim! Eh…? You…want to join me…? I-I assure you, that’s not necessary!
My, my, my, we have got to stop meeting like this~! Though since you’re here, could you help me hide from the Garde? I may have committed a petty crime without realizing it. Silly Sullivan, I know~!
Ahh, no more pesky sun! It’s a shame humans decided to sleep at night. But I do prefer solitude, so I guess it’s fine. Is that a strange thing for a performer to say?
What do you mean my jokes are too dark? Don’t you know that the best humor comes from reality? And reality can be oh-so cruel. In fact, the earliest jesters would put themselves through all sorts of misfortune to get a laugh out of their royal audiences. So of course my jokes would be just an itty-bitty gritty compared to the usual, over-sanitized drivel that’s hardly worth a pity-giggle.
About Sullivan: Knowledge
Do I miss being an advisor? Why on earth would I miss such a droll role? Sorting tomes, skimming ancient texts, absorbing every word… F-fondness?! Pah! You must be hearing things!
Why do you insist on following me around like a lost puppy? Afraid I’ll stir up more trouble? Or…are you hoping I’ll share some ancient wisdom with you? Well, keep hoping!
No matter how many times I point my Mirror at you, you never look any different. You…really aren’t hiding anything, are you? Th-then I suppose I can start extending the same courtesy to you. Get that twinkle out of your eye! This is purely in the name of Lord Leviathan’s virtue of fairness! Not because we’re “friends!”
Those of us vishaps who were high-ranking enough were granted vestiges of elemental power second only to the Sovereigns themselves. It’s something that should have never fallen into mortal hands, and yet…
Something to Share: Trench
Fontaine’s trenches aren’t that bad. I actually prefer the darkness and the solitude. It’s one of few places left in the world that remain untouched by those pesky humans. …Eh? You know a human who also likes isolating himself on the sea floor? Can’t we dragons have anything for ourselves anymore?!
Do not speak to me of that wretched farmhand unless it’s to tell me he’s finally dropped dead! I don’t care whether or not he knew what the Soul Gem of Truth was when he first received it. The truth of the matter is that he has something that doesn’t belong to him! It doesn’t belong to humanity at all!
Yes, yes, I know what you’re going to say, and I’m going to stop you before you embarrass yourself. Pepin is not my friend. He is not my “other half,” “soulmate,” “other side of the coin,” or whatever else you want to call it. He’s simply a human who happened upon half of my soul by pure chance! That is the only thing that connects us. This conversation is OVER!
I’m rather displeased that Lord Leviathan’s reincarnation was not only born into a human body, but also bonded with the pests. And what’s more, he mourned for the very god who carried his stolen power! What a disgrace. I certainly don’t recognize him as my Sovereign.
Effie was the most tolerable of my old colleagues. Not much of a go-getter, but she would always giggle at my jokes. I wonder what she’s up to nowadays. Frostmoon Scions? So, she never left Hyperborea after all. Heh, she always did have trouble letting things go.
She was always a bit hard to read, even for me. I know, shocking! No pun intended~ But you should be careful if you ever run into her. That deadpan expression is hiding some serious power. Her magic isn’t quite at my level, of course, but it’s still nothing to scoff at. She was the Geo Sovereign’s Head Priestess, after all.
A brute to the core! A mighty fallen emperor! Who can say why he descended from grace as Lord Apep’s figurehead? With how simple-minded that one is, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was simply bored of endlessly watching the cycle of life, unable to intervene.
An actor I may be, but I don’t hide my face behind any physical masks. Shashi is the opposite. Every inch of him concealed from the world, yet an obnoxiously genuine soul. Though not quite so forthright as one would expect of a noble knight. But then again, I suppose he hasn’t been noble for quite some time~
Despite my hangups with humans, I must admit that girl put on a spectacular performance the likes of which I’m unlikely to see again for at least another millennium. Credit where credit is due. In broad terms, I suppose she deserves the title of “hero.”
What, we talked a few times and now I’m just supposed to dump my whole life’s story on you? Even if I wanted to do that, my life has been pretty long, you know! Plus, I would need to structure it correctly. I refuse to be a rambling old man!
Once upon a time, there was a vishap who loved to collect ancient knowledge that had been lost by sailors that passed over his master’s waters. He would use his magic to restore the dissolved ink and eroded stone tablets, rewriting the words that would have otherwise been lost, and share his findings with his Lord.
The vishap watched years pass, then decades, then centuries, and yet there was never a shortage of new knowledge for him to gather. Such an accumulation he amassed that other dragons started coming to him for answers. And oh, how elated he was to share his wisdom with them. This eagerness to teach did not go unnoticed by his Lord, and thus he was named a Sage and granted the power to reflect truths and falsehoods through the waters that flowed through the world.
But of course, all good things must eventually come to an end. An outsider descended upon the Vishap Sage’s world, and before long, the dragons were no more. Even their king, who was as big as a continent, was bested by this invader. Only a small handful had managed to escape the slaugther by hiding in the most remote corners of the world, the Vishap Sage among them. He found an ocean trench so deep that no creature that wasn’t born from the waters could reach it. And there he hid, stewing in the darkness as time became meaningless, and he watched the world above shift through his Mirror.
One day — the Vishap Sage wasn’t sure how long after — he decided to poke his head out of the water, tired of relying on his Mirror to see the world above. He was swiftly punished for the grave sin of merely wanting to exist in this new world by having his very soul ripped in half by the order established by the invader who’d slaughtered his kin. In doing so, they took away his power of Truth, leaving him only with Deceit.
I am a jester first and foremost, so my free time is spent brainstorming ways to perfect my next performance! If you’ve ever seen me perusing ancient tomes in the library, I was simply studying the records of jesters who came before me! Or, well, after me.
Why are humans so attached to stories with happy endings? Why must the hero always triumph? How do they know that the hero is truly the hero? History is written by the victors, after all. And the victors are rarely as righteous as they portray themselves…
Hm. It’s…passable, I suppose. I may as well try another just to make sure that one wasn’t a fluke.
You know I don’t need to eat, right? But fine, I’ll indulge you just this once.
Ugh, I didn’t even know it was possible for food to be this dry! I need to go for a dip just to regain some moisture!
Haaaappy birthdaaaay~! Just for you, I’ve prepared a private performance of an old play from the age of dragons! I, of course, will be playing every role. Oh, don’t worry about finding a seat, either. The venue will be none other than my Mirror-Realm! That way, nobody will be disturbing us!

You know I’m not going to thank you for this, right? Then why…?

Are you sure it’s a good idea to be giving me this much power? I’m not complaining, of course. I just don’t want you to complain later when I do with it as I please.
Feelings About Ascension: Conclusion
HAHAHA! With this much power, I don’t even need the Soul Gem of Truth anymore! Tha— *ahem* You’ve done well.

Ugh, I’m faster in the water…
