If bakugou can avoid it, he doesn't at all
He gets grumpy staying up that late
Kirishima asks really nicely so he stays up until midnight
He's still grumbling, but he secretly enjoys seeing his friends hapoy
Kirishima and Denki are a little over excited
This noise makers, confetti, loud music
First song of the new year was 22 by Taylor Swift
Mina, the dancing queen, forces them all to dance with her
Some do so willingly, (Denki, Kiri) others require a little persuasion (Jirou, Sero) she had to basically drag Bakugou
Denki was really sad no one would kiss him
Jirou punched him in the shoulder at midnight tho
Maybe Kirishima kissed Bakugou, maybe he didn't. Bakugou will deny it anyways
Mina kisses Sero on the cheek, bestie goals
Mina and Denki made new years resolutions like "kick mineta, don't fail exams, make bakugou admit he loves us"
Bakugou doesn't believe in them, but says he wants to be top of the class
Kirishima refuses to share his, some superstition about not sharing but he wishes to be braver in the new year
Jirou also refuses to share hers, she has a few. New instruments to learn, things she wants to do, certain creation heros she want to talk to more.
Sero refuses to take them seriously, jumps on to their "kick mineta" plan
Mina makes a speech at new year that got way too emotional, about how she loves them and is excited for the new year.
Then calls them stupid to even out that she may have cried a little.
They didn't stay up much past midnight, sleepy hero kids who work too hard
Bakugou, though he wanted to be asleep hours prior, is the last to fall asleep
He acquired blankets for them
Which bakugou will also deny
