The Trad Goth Collection: 666 Follower Gift
Ever since I started making custom content and posting it on this tumblr over two years ago, I told myself I wasn’t ever going to do a follower gift. That’s because I was never in it for any followers, I just wanted to make cool stuff and share it around, that’s it. However, the only follower milestone that I thought would be right up my alley is to celebrate getting 666 followers on this blog. So, the fact you are seeing this right now only means one thing…
Thank you all so much for enjoying my alternative content! It means a lot! To celebrate this milestone, I wanted to continue my ever-increasing effort to both combine my love for the goth subculture with the sims and making my game as maxis match as possible by making some maxis match goth rock band designs! I was heavily inspired by the countless simmers, like @faeriessims, and @femmeonamissionsims, who render real-life stuff into the sims and took 13 iconic goth bands from the 80s and recreated their imagery into a sim-y likeness.
I’m super happy with how they all turned out and I love the cc I made with them, especially now that my sims and I can finally have matching band tees! Thank you @sims4satan for the play-testing!
Don’t worry if you don’t know a lot about these bands, if you want your sims to own this stuff without looking like a posuer, you can find find a nice little playlist of these bands on youtube and spotify provided by yours truly! ;)
All the items are base game compatible. The CAS items have versions for masculine and feminine frames. Male shirt uses a mesh from a buckgrunt t-shirt, mesh is included. All items have 13 swatches except for the biker jackets which only have one swatch. All items have custom catalog and swatch thumbnails.
