Worked in the field of SMI and addiction

History of addiction

(basically a good fit for writing Bob)

Working on the disability process, also a substitute teacher! Refuses to give up on the next generation.

Have read a TON of Hulk comics, starting on Bob soon

Bob (The Way I Play Him):

-Diagnosed with bipolar 1 currently, a few others over the years

-Only clean since waking up, it got him through withdrawal physically but mentally is hard

-Trying everything he can to "fix" himself

-Some days much harder than others

-Chooses to never become sentry/void, but could go either way based on mental health

-This is only mostly about him healing NOT really superpowers

-Struggling to deal with what he did

-Does still cause flashbacks when he touches people, though he is working on this and it won't be forever

Rules:

-Smut will be on a case by case basis and I honestly want to discuss it first. I just have some quirks. But very open to it.

-21+. If you don't wait I won't interact when you're 21 either

-I tag with tw: trigger, but I do not tag every mention of mental health and addiction. It would be a lot to keep up on.

-I'm going to be honest and say if you never want to talk about mental health and addiction in your roleplays, I may not be a good fit for you, and that's okay

-HOWEVER I am aware that these are loaded topics and will give you absolutely as long as you need. Haven"t answered in six months? Answer now! If I can't remember, I'll message.

Bob stood outside in the NYC streets, where the smoke from the wildfires further up still showed sometimes, the haze, and some people wore masks, taking deep breaths. He said, to no one in particular, after a cough, "Not going to lie, not my favorite smoke I've breathed in."

"Yeah same" Chip says hands in his pockets. "We should probably actually get inside it's pretty bad out here" he says "You're that guy with the new avengers right, bob or whatever.... I'm Chip" he says offering his hands. "I was just heading to the tower, Val hired me to do IT support for you guys" (Chips about page)

Bob sighed. "Gotta get that buzz somewhere, but yeah, this isn't doing it. Worth a shot." He grinned sheepishly and shrugged.

"I uh, still don't shake hands." He said, stepping back. "Power thing, you wouldn't like it, sorry. But nice to meet you Chip. I can take you inside and someone else will probably know where..... IT stuff is." He motioned him in.

Chip pulls his hand back "Got it" he says following bob inside. "So uh what's your power anyway, the medias been speculating a lot but no real answers" he says "So uh what's your drug of choice then?" he asks curiously "Don't usually think about superheros doing drugs"

Bob paused. He never knew what to call his power. "I uh.... Can show people things in their mind? But it's normally caused by touch and I don't always control it well. Hence no touching." He never controlled it well, but he wasn't about to say that.

"And I was mostly just a chronic user. Anything I could get my hands on. I preferred uppers a bit, especially meth, but fentanyl always is extremely addictive obviously. At different phases in my life I had different main drugs. I could always use anything though." He realized this might classify as an overshare and bad on the team, and quickly added, "I'm clean now. We're not sure I would have an affect even if I tried using, but obviously I'm not going to."

Bob stared at the bagel shop at the edge of the corner, hands in his pockets. It had a new name, he thought, but still. He saw a man about to walk in and said, "Excuse me,sir, does this place like...." He dropped his voice low. "Just sell bagels now? Not... Other things? I just want a bagel."

Bob was a little nervous, walking up to Scarlett as she left a conversation with one of the other new avengers and giving her a small little smile as he bounced on his toes. "Yelena offered to make me some sort of knife thing. She said you have one she made, and even though I said no I should see what they look like to be sure. I'm Bob by the way. We know some of the same people and I see you around but I can't remember if I've said hi. I get so weird I try not to." He remembered how he needed to shut up too.

Emilia had been slowly easing up to the team these past few weeks. Small but meaningful things. Like leaving her door unlocked, responding when people check in on her. She’s making progress. Real progress.

One night, she hears laughter from the kitchen, talking, the sound of plates and silverware. She thinks for a long moment before peeking her head out of her room, seeing the team preparing a big dinner on the dining table.

Bob smiled up at her and gave her a tiny little wave, hoping not to immediately alert the others. He nodded his head very softly to an empty chair next to him, one he had been quietly placing then loudly saying the void demanded it if anyone tried to take it, for when Emilia was ready. He'd explain that later. He mouthed something, but it was clearly mostly him stumbling over it and not really creating any words. Finally he tried, 'I'll save some' hoping it was clear she'd get food either way, but also knowing his lips literally moved weird sometimes from his TD.

Emilia looks out to the kitchen, analysing everyone, the food, people smiling. She glances back to bob as if seeking reassurance that it’s ok for her to come out of her room. She sees his small nod to the empty chair and she smiles softly. She notices him mouthing that he’ll save some food for her. She mouths back “can I come see?” She just wants to look, see if she wants to stay for dinner or hide in her room again.

Bob nodded emphatically, patting the seat. Yelena looked at him. "Are you like... Petting the void?" She asked. "Yep." Bob said, but his eyes were on Emilia, trying not to look too eager, but his smile was huge.

Emilia nods before stepping out of her room nervously, pulling her hoodie sleeves over her knuckles and fidgeting with her hands. She immediately making her way over to Bob and sitting at the chair he was petting. She brings her knees to her chest protectively

The other people gasped and Bob laughed. "The chair was for Emilia the whole time. Want me to go grab you food?" He grinned at her and motioned his head towards the stove. "It's pretty good. Someone made it."

“What is it?” She asks nervously, looking toward the stove too. She’s never really done a big group dinner before. She’s so nervous.

Bob thought for a second, then shrugged. "There's like meat and veggies and rice I guess. Someone chopped them all fancy too. And they are separate on the stove, so you can just grab what you like."

If you're not a void anymore, what are you? Or were you never a void?

Noid was a void, Noid wondered what Noid is now. Noid believes that since Noid ate creature, Noid is now creature. Noid is void. Noid will always be void.

Void is not happy to be stuck in this shell that takes away all strength. The pain of being constricted to a form. Not being free. Not being everywhere all at once. It is pain and anger that shakes this tiny form that is weak. Noid will be back to a void.
