Before commercial banks, central banks, and digital payments, there were goldsmiths.

After months of research, I’ve decided to publish my new book earlier than originally planned.
What began as a simple question, who actually finances the world?—eventually became a much larger project exploring the institutions and capital flows that shape the global economy.
The book examines topics including sovereign debt, government bond markets, central banks, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, the U.S. dollar system, and China’s evolving financial architecture. Rather than focusing on stock picking or market predictions, the goal was to explain the hidden financial framework that supports modern economies.
Many of the most important forces in finance operate quietly in the background. Governments borrow trillions through bond markets, investors allocate capital across continents, and central banks work to maintain stability during periods of uncertainty. Understanding these relationships helps explain not only financial markets, but also many of the economic and geopolitical developments shaping the world today.
