So, this blog has been sort of half dead for a while and will probably stay that way for a while longer 🙇

I'll still reblog memes and fanart once in a while but likely will be about as active in writing for tamb as I have been.

The whole comicgrowl segmented release debacle put me off the manga for a while and I just haven't had the mental energy to force myself back into reading it since I'm absolutely bored with the current arc 😔 and I'm juggling too many other things at the moment to squeeze in a rewatch so for now, the hyperfixation will remain unrefreshed.

TFW you buy yourself an apprentice/fiancée, but then she takes in a big ass dog, who is also a hot guy, but she gives the dog a girl's name, but she's from Japan so she doesn't know it's a girl's name, so it's kind of awkward to tell her she named her dog, who is also a guy, a girl's name, the only Ruth she heard of before is Babe Ruth, you live in England so you have no idea who that is, and now you're going home and it's kind of awkward, someone will tell her it's a girl's name eventually, right?

my problem is if i enjoy something enough i will be nitpicking. i Will have things to say about where and how it failed. out of nothing but love straight from my heart. unfortunately this often makes me indistinguishable from a hater who has never experienced joy or kindness. such is the amateur critic's burden.

I think I finally got all the pieces lined up to start writing that "What was Elias doing when Chise couldn't find him all day?" Fic

I think that a lot of the people who went into the series liking their own assumption of Elias and Chise's dynamic before knowing how their relationship actually plays out came away disappointed because the premise of the series seemed to be pointing to Chise having daddy issues and taking Elias on as a substitute father.

In reality Chise's mommy issues are her predominant issue early on and no amount of ambiguously male affection was going to fix that in a soft and cozy way.
