My understanding of the archeological and DNA evidence suggests it's been closer to 12000 to 14000 with their ancestors being the first people to raise permanent settlements in the area during the late Neolithic Age.

the answer is yes. Keltec intentionally designs their weapons to look like 80s and 90s sci-fi. One of their reps has openly stated they'd sell IRL pulse rifles if they could.
I can't find any source for that claim, but it would make sense.

I had this little conversation last month. I don't know where they calculate the 85%. But I do get paid for my time and labor. Otherwise, I would quit. The nice thing about not owning the business. I'm not attached to any debt incurred by the owners.
The 85% is probably the business's revenue after labor costs.
@thinginthefen am I correct? do you think wage labor pays for inventory or raw materials? What about the equipment the business uses? Rent, electrical or water bills? Maintenance and upkeep? If not, do you not believe those costs should be paid for with the revenue earned from their use?

A lot of the time, maintenance and assembly and cleaning is done by outside contractors. Paid for by management. Which is itself a skill.
Stop pretending it's all-or-nothing, and anyone who isn't rabidly pro-worker* thinks management is entirely responsible.

most businesses build their profit on a 2 to 5% margin. The 85% is an Every Town level ass pull they've been quoting since Clinton took office in 1990.
