playing teenage kicks was so important on so many levels. yes it's a punk song about teenagers which obviously fits the episode. but also, it was written in the summer of 1977. the undertones were a northern irish punk rock band. they were from derry. and when they released teenage kicks it put derry on the map in the music scene. i just love how much thought goes into every aspect of this show
