I have so many books in my possession I know will be utterly amazing and beautiful, yet SOMEHOW all I want is to reread Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom for the third time in the span of one month!
Dorothea Brook was the original “I’m not like other girls” girl and you can’t tell me otherwise.
I want a production of Hamlet that capitalizes on Horatio being in love with Hamlet, but Hamlet doesn’t realize and is genuinely in love with Ophelia. After Ophelia’s death, however, he begins to realize and there is a growing sense of love between them in the final two scenes of the play. Because, let’s face it, Hamlet is definitely bi.
I finished reading "If we were villains" a few hours ago, so while I'm still going through the 5 stages of grief, here are the gayest scenes between Oliver and James that I made sure to save while reading even though I had no idea at first if it's going anywhere or not.
1. Oliver unconsciously leaning in when James was pretend-hitting him during class. (ACT I - scene 9)
2. James covering Oliver with the fake blood on Halloween. (ACT I - scene 12)
I wanted to slap every single character in The Secret History, but with If We Were Villains, all I wanted to do was hug everyone.

I will fall in love with someone ONLY if they say
"I look at you and suddenly the sonnets make sense"
(If we were villians)
So I made an If We Were Villains uquiz and you should take it <3
Which If We Were Villains by M.L Rio character are you?
If we were villains is one of the best books written in the history of humanity and I will die on this hill
The more time I spend with Frankenstein the more sympathetic I am toward Victor. He's severely mentally ill and has some sort of chronic illness. He's very queer. He's plagued by visions. He passes out from stress.
When I first read it I completely hated him, but now he's just like me fr
I need someone to think of me the same way authors describe their characters
someone please take me on bookstore dates, and talk with me about books, and our futures and aspirations, and then at the end we exchange our favorite books with each other, and drive home listening to music.
dorian gray was so dedicated to intense emotion that he became a remorseless killer and rodion romanovitch raskolnikov was so dedicated to being a remorseless killer that he became intensely emotional
so we all agree that james is alive right like that's for sure right and oliver goes up to del norte and there he is and they reunite and live and love in peace thats what happens right
I hate The Secret History but it’s simultaneously one of my favorite books...
the most romantic thing a person can do is read and annotate your favorite book and then give it to you.
