I've finally gotten out of my reading rut! I've started reading again with the help of a horror short story collection (Ghost Camera by Darcy Coates) and now I've started a cozy mystery series set in a small town and the main character owns a bookstore!

Perfect way to get back into the rhythm of reading and cut back on social media scrolling (I was starting to scroll too much again, but I uninstalled the Threads app so it should start improving).

I'm back! I hate Threads (I got sucked back into using it) and everyone is mean on Bluesky (people block me when I post that I love books?? I don't get it.) And Instagram is too...Instagrammy lol.

So I'm going to blog on Tumblr about books. Good ol' Tumblr. And of course my WordPress blog too. I guess blogs are just reliable and short form social media sucks.

So I think this is going to be the blog where I chat about the books I'm currently reading and in a way keep track of what I'm reading. I don't really like the other social media sites. Threads and IG are okay, but Tumblr is different because I can write long text posts and not have to think about making Reels or photo carousels or whatever. This is simpler.
