Cult of the Subconscious character bios!! (only Cesar and Mark for now)

He was raised to be the leader, inheriting the position at just age of 18 when he killed and sacrificed his own father. Now, Cesar leads stronger than his father ever had. Instead of making the people fear him, he uses his charm to persuade and win the hearts of his many followers. However, it's a delusion he pushed to hide his dark efforts and sacrifice. Every vulnerable, hopeful mind only continues to pray with the guidance of their leader, but they don't know that it only fuels the alternate threat. At his followers’ expense, donations for his cause only got to the luxuries for his own life, the back half of the church being Cesar’s castle, and his body decorated in layers of expensive silver jewelry. The only thing Cesar has ever known is being worshipped, his family “sent” by “The True Saviour”. Of course, the followers believe this, seeing Cesar as a saint or god. Despite his flawless, charming image, Cesar’s mental state is depraved. Whether it's a mix of his Mental Illnesses and alternates torturing his mind, Cesar is extremely manic and paranoid, masking this through his charming mirage or immobilizing himself sometimes with excessive amounts of alcohol or medication, something the regular cult members are not allowed to consume. He likely has a variant of schizophrenia. In a state of breakdown, he often shakes, gets highly aggressive, clawing and biting at himself, or looking disheveled from his regular, perfect state.
Physically, Cesar is strikingly handsome, but in an almost grim beauty, his followers are drawn to. His stature is thin, his ribcage prominent against his flesh. He cloaks his form in a standard black priest's robe lined with silver buttons and adornments. Around his neck are his many necklaces and rosaries, and a black and white priestly stole. His skin is of a nice, tan hue that's slightly paler than most of his family. His smooth hair is slicked and a shining black with a few white stripes going through it, and upon his nose is a pair of slim-framed glasses that sit upon his heavy, tantalizing eyes that are of the deepest pits of deceit. Paired with them are his deeply sunken cheekbones, sharp jawline, and well-kept, slight mustache upon his upper lip. His long, almost haunting fingers are adorned with many expensive rings that seem to grace every page of scripture he touches. Hidden by his long sleeves are many scratches and bitemarks along his arms inflicted by himself, and upon his back is a large, intricate cross engraved there with black ink.
Meeting at a young age through their parents, the Heathcliff family was always close to the Torres as advisors. Naturally, as Cesar became leader, Mark took his father’s place as “Right Hand”. Despite their long-rooted relationship, Cesar sees Mark only as another follower or servant, regularly making him do tasks for him from things to sacrifices, worship, or just simply cleaning his living quarters.
The youngest and only heir of Cesar’s position. She is the only lasting member of the Torres Family after Cesar wiped them out to remain in power. He sees her almost as a daughter, trying to raise her with his same deceptive tactics.
Father Seph (Six/Intruder):
He is aware that the priest is an alternate but pays no mind to it. He gave Six the code name “Seph” so he would fit better with the other priest.
Adam Murray, Jonah Marshall, Sarah Heathcliff:
Three younger cult-born members whom he keeps a keen eye on from having friendships with Evelin. He approves more of Adam and Sarah but believes Jonah is a bad influence on Evelin.

A man of many jobs, most notably serving Father Cesar Torres as his right hand. His family has a history of being closely tied to the leaders, inheriting the position from his father. On the side of being Cesar’s personal servant, bodyguard, and worshipper, he runs the community’s blacksmith and wood mill for the followers to purchase materials or weapons, gaining him wealth beyond most in the cult. Most of his life was occupied with caring for his younger sister Sarah, whom he deeply values and wants to protect from the true intentions of the cult. He is aware of the sacrifices, partaking in worship for his and Sarah’s safety, and to appear loyal to Cesar.
Mark’s build is heavyset, his strongly built, hair-covered arms regularly crossed against his muscular chest. His build regularly has smeared, blackened ash from his work, along with scars and burns across his body. Upon his prominently stubbled face are his observant hazel eyes that can be compared to those of birds of prey. His brown hair is grown out and messily kept, the style, however, complements his looks well. He wears the standard appointed robe for the cult members, the sleeves rolled up upon his strong arms and the worn-looking fabric tight against his build. While working his other jobs. He regularly only wears the bottom half of his garments, resulting in the scars and burns on his chest and arms.
He once called Cesar a friend before he was too involved with the sacrifices. Though opposing his tactics, Mark follows through with loyalty to his supior for his own safety, and benefit. He acts rather dull to the leader but cares for Cesar in his collapses or breakdowns, despite how threatening he can be.
Mark’s cult-born sister he took responsibility for at a young age, and still cares for. He does everything to protect Sarah from the true dangers of the cult, teaching her to be strong just like himself.
