when watching cotbp w my sister yesterday she was like “what do you think norrington and elizabeth talked about in the weeks leading up to jack’s execution” and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it

#honestly i can’t imagine they talked much at all #like i can see Elizabeth withholding communication as a form of protest against both James and her father #not speaking unless spoken to (which is already a noticeable enough change that both men would be uncomfortable) #and then not making eye-contact when she does reply in the least words she can possibly get away with
