This semester has been rough but this book really helped me pull through. Amoruso's story is witty, brilliant, and completely fascinating. Her sense of humour and self really shone through the pages and inspired me to do the same. I love Prisoner of Azkaban because it introduced us to some of my most favourite characters, Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. I think Rowling really painted an interesting picture with these characters and their connection to Harry and his parents. For this #FavouriteFriday I'm doing the first book of my all time favourite series (second only to Harry Potter), The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. ⭐️4.5 stars (for book one) 👉🏼This book was one of my first forays into the Young Adult dystopian literate scene. I think that this series provides an interesting scope on desensitisation to human struggle and war. I also enjoy Katniss' character as someone who breaks a conventional female role and is driven to protect her sister above all else. 🍺I have the "Cinna-Van-hellsinger" with this book. (Shot of Fireball whiskey and Vanilla Coke).
