Troy with 20 , 24, and 14

Troy Calypso: 

14. Do they make it a point to eat at least one meal a day together with their partner, or do they do as they please?

Troy generally does as he pleases, but there are special events set up where he and Tyreen eat among their followers (Not literally, they’re sat at a table above the rest of them, and only a choice few are allowed to directly eat with the twins). During these events you’re directly next to him, to show you belong to him, but otherwise he eats on his own time. He’ll occasionally pop in and ask if you want to get a snack with him. 

20. How did their relationship start?

You were selected, chosen, because you caught Troy’s eye by being unique from the masses of his and Tyreen’s followers. Having some battle savvy and kills under your belt would especially spark his interest, perhaps even having him joke with you that you should be his personal bodyguard (and then laughing it off, as though he needed such a thing). This constant closeness with him, moreso than other followers, is what leads to eventual feelings, because you give him the attention, loyalty, and ego-stroking that he needs. 

24. Will they lie for the sake of their significant other’s happiness?

Troy can lie almost too easily, even if he feels guilty about having to do so. There are some things he does that he knows you might not approve of, even if you’re well-aware of who you’re dating and his true goals. He dislikes conflicts in his romantic relationships, though, so he tries to avoid fighting when he can unless you say something that truly pisses him off.

4. Do they spend a lot of time in the courting stage or attempt to get to first base as fast as possible?

In the corporate world, everything feels like it’s quicker, like everyone’s in some type of rush to get to an unknown destination as quickly as possible. It’s easy to be sucked up in it, especially for him, but he finds you make him want to slow down. To take his time. To enjoy the little things without having to agonize over the bigger picture. As much as he wants to reach first base quickly, he also wants to just… take the time to savor getting to know you.

15. Do they enjoy talking to their partners before going to sleep or is it straight to dreamland?

Most days end with him so exhausted he can barely form a coherent sentence, though if you’re in bed beside him he’ll at least manage to mutter a ‘goodnight’ or ‘love you’ before passing out. He’s the type that doesn’t go to bed until they’re on the brink of falling asleep, so generally, bed time isn’t spent talking unless there are other activities planned that just so happen to take place in bed. 

16. Do they have at least one bonding activity they devote to doing with their partner exclusively?

You tend to be the only one Rhys will stop working in the middle of the day for, letting you drag him off to who knows where just to spend a little extra time with him. He rarely says no to taking walks around the office with you, and is quite delighted when you bribe him with coffee or frogurt.

Midnight Rendezvous [NSFW]

Word Count: 474 words Pairing: Mordecai/Reader Summary: It all started with a joke...

The man might be skinny, but he knew how to eat.

“Fuck, Mordecai.”

He doesn’t so much as glance up at you, concentrating on moving his tongue and mouth in ways he knew would drive you wild. He’d only been between your thighs for about a minute and you were already soaked to the core, covering your mouth to not alert Brick or Tina to what was going on in the house across the way. The two of you didn’t often have enough time to be intimate with each other, and even now, Mordecai was technically supposed to be keeping watch, but you’d gladly taken up that position while he focused on other things.

You’d made some joke about him not liking food, just an offhand comment that had him riled up; Brick was right, he could be pretty sensitive. This worked more in your favor than you had intended it to, though, especially when Mordecai made mention of his favorite meal that he could eat day and night. It’s how he ended up between your thighs, tongue dragging against your entrance once, twice, too many times to keep count with how fuzzy your head was growing. You were too focused on keeping your moans quiet, biting down on your lip, enough to drawn blood, when you feel his mouth seal over your clit and begin to gently suck.

If he really wanted you screaming his name, he’d use teeth, but it’s clear that this encounter can’t be any more drawn on than it already is. He presses one finger inside of you and sets a steady rhythm, using his other hand to control your hips and stop you from completely smothering him (he preferred the smothering to come when you sat on his face, a position for a more convenient time). Stars start to dance before your eyes and you can feel the heat in your lower regions reach their limits, whimpering out Mordecai’s name in warning before you completely lose yourself.

You think, once he removes himself from his comfortable place between your thighs and back into his chair in front of a window, that he’s going to say something goofy like ‘Thanks for the meal’, but instead he just smiles. There was a point in time it was rare to ever see him look like this, happy, peaceful, and you were grateful for every moment of it. He wipes away the excess blood on your lip and shakes his head before leaning in to give you a few quick, chaste kisses.

“I love you, you know that?” He muttered, and you do know that.

“I love you, too, but you should probably get back to keeping watch.”

“And you should be getting some rest.” He leaned over to press another kiss against your cheek, “I’ll see you in the morning, hermosa.”

Handsome Jack with 8, 15, and 18

Handsome Jack: 

8. Are they loyal to their partners?

It really depends on who and what you are to him. After becoming CEO he had countless people he called his lovers, but who he was never truly loyal to; he would sleep around, but he wouldn’t be secretive about it. He was a man who had the power to do what he wanted, so why would he throw that away? He’d been married twice already. Now, if the two of you were married is where Jack’s loyalty would truly come in, as even he wouldn’t want to ‘ruin’ the sanctity of marriage. 

15. Do they enjoy talking to their partners before going to sleep or is it straight to dreamland?

Jack has to be in a certain mood to be talkative right before he goes to sleep, but those moods come generally after his plans were successful or he feels like his ambitions are coming to fruition. He’ll ramble on and on about his bright future, one that, of course, includes you in it, and he’ll continue to talk about his future plans and goals, throwing in a few more compliments for himself here and there about what a great leader and CEO he makes. He’ll also sometimes gush about you, talking about how he couldn’t have succeeded at this or that without your help, or that he loves you and how dedicated you are to helping his dreams come true (and hopefully, it was your dream, too). 

18. Do they have a ‘type’?

Somewhat. His type has changed over the years but he does like having a significant other who’s attractive to others, just so he can feel how envious they are of him getting to have them. He likes having a significant other who knows how to fight, as they’ll be able to do jobs for him that he’d like to have ‘off the record’ and also protect him should all his other defenses prove useless.

Lilith: 

1. Do they seek out love or let it find the? Are they even interested in romance?

Lilith used to seek love, not actively but just enough that she could easily see the spark between her and Roland. After that, she doesn’t seek it out at all, and even loses interest in it all together due to the pain that seemed to permanently settle itself in her heart. Even if other feelings for a person were to develop, she’s likely to just reject them or ignore them to the best of her ability, not wanting to go through that again.

2. When they have a crush on someone, how do they let them know?

It would take a lot of persuasion and time on Lilith’s part for her to finally confess, as she doesn’t actually want to deal with these feelings but she knows it hasn’t been healthy to hold them inside her the way she has been. She’s a bit awkward as she brings it up, stumbling over her words, unable to meet her eye, but finally she just sighs, telling you she cares about you as more than a friend, and wonders if you have any intent of pursuing something more with her. 

8. Are they loyal to their partners?

Undoubtedly. Lilith is a loyal person in general, and would lay her life down on the line for you. She loves you so immensely that everyone around you knows without her even having to say it, she just radiates that energy when you’re around each other. She would expect and appreciate the same loyalty from you, finding that if you were to betray her or be too dishonest, it could be a deal-breaker. 

10. Do they include their partners in most aspects of their life?

Somewhat. She’d enjoy if you were part of the Crimson Raiders, but not as a front-line combatant if she could help it. She’d rather you help train the crew or work on creating armor, things that were less likely to get you killed. But if you were to have a completely different interest or job, she’d be supportive of you, not minding as she doesn’t think you have to be part of everything going on in her life. 

17. What sort of characteristics or quirks draw them to someone?

Badass with a heart of gold.

18. Do they have a ‘type’?

Other Vault Hunters seem to be her type, even if it’s already brought her pain more than once. She likes being with someone who’s badass and adventurous, who’s willing to put their life on the line to go out there and not just find Vaults, but to help people who need to be helped (and make great money in the process). She’s just more attracted to a person who understands who she is and what motivates her, and who likely has similar experiences to hers. 

22. Tell us about a sacrifice they made for their significant other.

A token of Roland’s. She had clung to it for years, and after meeting you, she realized how much guilt she was still holding onto after his untimely death. If she continued to hold onto it, she feared she’d never move out of the past, and that Roland would only be disappointed in her for not having the strength to make a tough call. She discards this token of love, knowing that she won’t forget him no matter how hard it is to part with it, and does her best to be present in her current romantic relationship. 

29. How do they express their love to their partner?

Lilith is a words of affection type of person, and she showers you with praise, never forgetting to say ‘I love you’ once she truly feels it. She’s affectionate behind closed doors, too, showering your face with kisses and more than happy when you return the favor to her. She could spend long mornings and nights cuddled up close with you, getting lost in conversation about the silliest, most trivial things and still feeling like it was full of substance, like the two of you are still getting closer every day. 

Tyreen Calypso: 

1. Do they seek out love or let it find the? Are they even interested in romance?

Tyreen doesn’t need to seek it out, it’s practically followed her her entire life. She’s a stunning individual, she knows this, and it’s attracted plenty of different types to her, but she’s rather picky and has a tendency to demolish her lovers if she’s not careful. She doesn’t trust easily, nor are her requirements for a partner met often, so she can be a little difficult to get to know in general. Love, above all, is not something she’s seeking out immediately but she wouldn’t reject it should it come along.

2. When they have a crush on someone, how do they let them know?

Tyreen simply… tells you, in private, during a one-on-one conversation. She has no fear of rejection, no fear that you might not return her feelings, a confidence which many wished to have. She would consistently hint on her streams at there being a special someone who’d been lucky enough to capture the God-Queen’s eye (and perhaps her heart?) as it rakes in the views, and even sends a warning to her potential suitor to prepare themselves. She finally tells you after getting plenty of bloodshed out of the arguments over who it was she was talking about, and she asks you how it feels to be so blessed. 

8. Are they loyal to their partners?

It’s an active choice she makes daily, which she lets you know since she’s the God-Queen and she doesn’t have to be loyal to you and only you, but she is. It takes a lot to garner enough of Tyreen’s attention that she actually decides she cares about you as more than just a tool to further her own reign, so you’re almost too special for her to lose. She handles you more delicately than most, something she tries to hide from her followers and Troy as she doesn’t want them to think she’s going soft. 

10. Do they include their partners in most aspects of their life?

If you’re charismatic or have some other ‘it’ factor, there’s no doubt she’ll use you to further her own fame or to rake in the views on her streams. This is such an important aspect of her life that she actually coaches you on how to act, and getting personal lessons from her is a gift from above that any of her followers would kill for. You wouldn’t have to do them daily like her and Troy do, but you’d feature in enough that you’d be well-known.

Her type is someone loyal, devoted, and absolutely crazy about her. This means there are varying other traits she’ll look for in a person, but she generally seems to attract those who have nothing else to live for and are looking for someone’s lead to ‘follow’. They’re a little more reliant on her rather than fully independent, just the way she likes them. 

22. Tell us about a sacrifice they made for their significant other.

Announcing your relationship publicly was a risk, a big risk, that Tyreen had worried about making. After plenty of discussion she decided she shouldn’t have to hide something if she didn’t want to, and she wanted everyone to know exactly who you belonged to. She tries to balance this out by having the followers who would be most upset about her change in relationship status kill each other in a nasty battle as she pits them against each other, implying left and right that these rando’s might actually be the one for her. It almost disgusts her how easily they believe it, but she doesn’t want their followers to plummet too quickly. 

29. How do they express their love to their partner?

She commonly refers to you as her favorite person, her number one fan, the best lover she’s ever had (which is just gloating on her part, she just wants everyone to know you’re a perfect couple and they don’t have any hope). She surprises you with how often she’ll suddenly move and kiss you, though she doesn’t seem to be a fan of hugs (you’re grateful, as you’re not trying to be turned into those weird crystal figures you see scattered around).

Troy Calypso: 

1. Do they seek out love or let it find the? Are they even interested in romance?

Love? Unlikely. Someone to warm his bed? Very likely. He doesn’t necessarily search for those partners either, as they tend to throw themselves at him or just fall into his lap due to his fame. Love isn’t something that’s first on his lists of ‘wants’, and he would be surprised if he were to develop genuine feelings for someone. Once he does, it makes it different for him to just sleep around as he’s constantly thinking about the true object of his desires.

4. Do they spend a lot of time in the courting stage or attempt to get to first base as fast as possible?

Troy isn’t a patient person, and would make his attraction clear to you the moment he realized it; since his feelings are now evident, he doesn’t see the point in waiting to label you as his. The gray area with him comes in only when he doesn’t announce this upgrade to your relationship, as you’d rather not assume the God-King sees you as anything more than toy without his verbal confirmation. 

13. Do they sleep in the same bed/room as much as they can or do they sleep separately?

Once you’re officially with Troy, he makes it apparent you’re to come stay in his room with him every night. His room, away from prying eyes, is where you see a much softer side of him. It’s one that’s not constantly making crude comments or trying to put on a show for the many followers he and Tyreen have amassed. Though there’s likely a lot of... sexual endeavors occurring in the bedroom, he’s a man with needs, it always ends with him cuddled up close with his arms protectively around you. You don’t found out until later, but you’re also one of the only people he’s ever slept with who he didn’t kick out of his room as soon as he was done with them. 

15. Do they enjoy talking to their partners before going to sleep or is it straight to dreamland?

Troy is generally the type to be asleep the minute his head hits the pillow, unless you’ve just had sex or you’d been fighting that day. He doesn’t mind some mindless chatter, and if you’re close enough to him, if he trusts you, he’s likely to use these moments to confide in you. He’ll sometimes say that he loves you, or that you’re beautiful/wonderful, said so low and murmured you’d think it was a secret.

Troy Calypso: 

18. Do they have a ‘type’?

There’s something attractive to Troy about a person who knows how to fight and hold their own, so he tends to go for those with fighting experience. Otherwise, he just has to find them attractive (sexual feelings tend to form before romantic for him, which leaves him reeling when a casual sexual relationship develops into feelings). He would also want someone who was loyal, who could prove their loyalty, and would be devoted to him. 

25. If they could choose their partner again, would they choose the same person?

Troy might branch out first, if given the opportunity, but he knows if he’s still the same him than any one else just won’t feel the same as you do. It’s more of a test, really, to see if your connection is truly as strong as it feels, and he’s pleased at the end of this experiment to see that he didn’t just suddenly develop feelings for all the people he fucked. You were absolutely special, in more ways than one, and were the only person he could actually see spending life after life with. 

27. Have they had dreams about their partner/the person they are courting?

If he didn’t immediately act on his growing feelings, which would be odd but not unheard of as he doesn’t exactly what to explain it to Tyreen, dreams would plague him until he finally took the chance. Some of his dreams aren’t positive, though, as they show him abusing his power to get you to do as he wants and it leaves him feeling unsettled. He wanted you to love him, not to be so afraid of him that you chose to love him. It makes him think even more about what he and Tyreen do with his followers, and he hates how uncomfortable it makes him, so he often brushes those thoughts to the back of his mind. 

29. How do they express their love to their partner?

When it’s come out that the two of you are together, it’s likely he’s very open about the relationship and doesn’t much care about what anyone thinks. During his and Tyreen’s casual streams you’re likely to get a shout-out, or at least hear him referencing you in some way, shape, or form. Tyreen uses this as easy pickings to tease her brother, since his fondness for you is so obvious.

Howdy there fellow Vault Hunter! Could I get some headcanons of Rhys as during his S/O pregnancy and birth (you can pick gender and how many I don’t mind) and what’s he like as a father? I love/crave for fluffy family headcanons/imagines and my BF broke up with me the day before BL3 came out so I’m a mess that wants love from their favorite boy (I also stole/took back a Handsome Jack mask I gave to my ex hehe)

Rhys: 

He’s almost annoyingly motherly when you’re pregnant, constantly trying to get you to sit down and not do anything too strenuous, no matter what trimester of pregnancy you’re in. He just doesn’t want you to overdo it or hurt yourself or the baby in the process, and you think he might be more nervous about this whole thing than you are. 

He’s the type to want to be in the delivery room no matter what, and even if you’re shouting insults or telling him you want to strangle him, he just nods his head and encourages you, keeping his grip on your hand tight. He’s aware that you’re in pain with no actual intentions of hurting him, but after all that he’d been through… your wrath was the least of his worries. 

Rhys always acts like a first time parent, no matter how many kids you have, though he feels like two is the perfect number. A boy and a girl, as cliche as it sounds, but he’d always wanted to have that ‘picture perfect’ family, and now that he’d achieved his dream as CEO, he felt like many things were just naturally falling into place for him. But he’s a worrywart parent who always has his eyes on his child, sometimes making himself sick with worry if they have a fever or are acting differently than normal. 

He is not the ‘tough cop’ parent, so hopefully you are. He attempts to be, and there are some things he’ll absolutely put his foot down on (like things regarding their safety), but mostly, your children just have to send him puppy dog eyes and he’ll immediately turn to mush. He especially likes when they call him ‘Dad’ because it reminds him those are his children, and he gets filled with this overwhelming joy of having them in his life, so all misdeeds and punishment are forgotten.

Mordecai: 

15. Do they enjoy talking to their partners before going to sleep or is it straight to dreamland? 

If you want to talk, he’ll do his best to try to stay awake. He’s generally the type who gets into bed and passes out immediately, but he’d be damned if he misses out on your sleepy ramblings before bedtime. Things always feel a little less serious, a little less dire, when you’re in bed together, and it’s the ideal time to be silly and talk about things like dreams and the future without feeling like you’re hoping for too much. 

17. What sort of characteristics or quirks draw them to someone?

23. Do they understand their partner's/person they are courting’s feelings without them having to say anything? 

Being a sniper, he’s learned to be able to focus and look for the little details, so in general, he has a good idea of your emotional state at any time. He knows when he can push and prod to tease without actually upsetting you, when you need to be soothed or when you need to just not be forced to talk at all. He doesn’t admit he loves to coddle you when he knows you need it, and also won’t admit he purposely avoids you like the plague when he sees that you’re in a bad mood.

Rhys: 

2. When they have a crush on someone, how do they let them know?

Unless they’re completely oblivious, they know. Rhys isn’t really a subtle person, even if he wants to be, so his feelings are glaringly obvious when it comes to his crush on you. His attempts at flirting are more awkward than smooth (you make him nervous), he’s always attempting to talk to you or involve you in something he’s working on, and all in all, he clearly regards you highly. You would think he just considered you a good friend if he didn’t constantly stare at you with this lovestruck gaze, one you’ve managed to catch more than once.

5. Do they wait to be intimate until after marriage or break all the social rules?

Rhys is all for breaking social rules, who needs ‘em, right? But in this department, he’d probably just follow whatever you prefer. He’s not trying to pressure you into doing something you’d regret in the future, and he doesn’t mind the thought of marrying you at some point, so he’d be able to wait. Having a robot hand made it feel like it was another person anyway... What a sad thought. You might have to pity fuck him just for that. 

17. What sort of characteristics or quirks draw them to someone?

Friendly

Strong, mildly abrasive personality (takes no shit, from him or anyone else)

29. How do they express their love to their partner?

Rhys would say I love you often enough, always more than happy to verbally shower you with praise; sometimes it even slips out without him realizing he’s just gushing over you like a lovesick idiot. He’s also rather affectionate, especially when it’s just the two of you, and he prefers when you’re near him at all times. Having you be either his secretary or bodyguard would be an ideal for him.

Do you think youll do any headcanons/reader insert stuff for the new vault hunters in BL 3?

Yes! I currently only really know Fl4k as that’s who I’m playing but I’ll be doing my research after I finish the game, since I don’t want to accidentally stumble onto any spoilers.
