Do you wish you truly were a part of the royal family?

“I mean… sometimes? It’d be nice to live a properly cushy lifestyle and not have such strict expectations. But, I think trading up to a royal status would just trade in my current problems for different problems. I’m not really insecure when it comes to being beneath anyone either.”

“Of course, I missed Gigi and Isabella -- far more than I’m willing to admit actually. I don’t do well on my own, but you didn’t hear that from me.”

“ Lucca? I-Is that you?! ”

The brunette’s eyes lit up the moment he heard that familiar voice, turning to face the other to confirm his suspicions. “ Gigi? ” It was clear how excited Lucca was by the eagerness in his tone. Without hesitation he ran up to her and threw his arms around her in a warm embrace, a smile spreading across his lips. “ I missed you so much! ”

A smile spread across Lucca’s lips as he tilted his head to the side slightly, the book he was reading placed to the side so that his attention could be focused on the other. “You know you don’t have to leave, right? I don’t mind you sticking around. Take a seat.” He nodded to the empty spot on the grass beside him.

“You and I are on totally different pages. I think that if it stays warm even just for another month I would just wither away or melt. I can’t stand the heat and it doesn’t help that it’s not good for my hair.” He chuckled softly, offering up a shrug of his shoulders. “At this point, I’m looking for any excuse to break out my collection of jumpers.”

    Lucca’s eyes momentarily narrowed on the device before his gaze shifted back toward the redhead, “ I don’t think there’s hope for me even with the help of whatever that is.” He chuckled softly. “ You make it look too easy; but I know if I made an attempt it would look really stupid. Some people aren’t meant to dance and that’s probably for the best --- to save people like me the embarrassment. ”
