The good omens finale is literally theseusā paradox because if you take away all of the components that make them fundamentally them (heaven/hell/trauma/any conflicts whether internal or external) are they still them?
Anthony is so similar to angel!crowley but thatās because without the fall and any of the things heās gone through, thatās what heād be so while it is technically still him because that COULD have been him, is it really him?
When you replace the pieces of the characters that made the characters themselves, are they at the end of the day still themselves or something completely different? They still ended up together after starting the same so are they really all that different or is what led up to them being together being erased enough to make them different?
