i'll start:

Stephanie Brown plays Son and never once breaks character

Alfred plays the Grandpa but is also in the audience serving them tea when hes not onstage and it is unclear how hes doing everything so fast (also he'd say every line with a straight face as if he's not even a part of the musical and is just there)

Poison Ivys

scribble goblin just updated his poison ivy design and i thought it would be fun if i had his version meet mine but my tablet is broken beyond repair so i could only do sketch art

Redesigning all original 151 Pokémon because I fucking can and you can't stop me - 1-15

basically I had the idea to redesign all original 151 Pokémon and because I have free will I decided to do that

i opted to not change the name, number, title, and typing of the Pokémon because I didn't want to

close-ups and design breakdowns below

The Grass Starter

#0001: Bulbasaur - The Seed Pokémon

for Bulbasaur I read the name and went "well clearly it's meant to be some kind of dinosaur frog thing" and there was also clearly a "budding flower" aspect to the original design, so I chose for my references a horny toad (it says horned frog but that's for the evos), a water lily pod (specifically the ones that look really trypophobic), and a minmi (a type of paranlykosaurid that could give me a very interesting throughline)

#0002: Ivysaur - The Seed Pokémon

Ivysaur was pretty interesting because in the original it's essentially just a larger Bulbasaur, but it doesn't really feel like a smaller Venusaur, so I decided to make it somewhat of a bridge design, combining elements of a horned frog (larger flatter body), a budding water lily (the buds/scutes of the Bulbasaur now begin to open up around the Ivysaur), and keeping the minmi aspects to keep the design more cohesive

#003: Venusaur - The Seed Pokémon

for Venusaur I very obviously leaned hard into the "horned" aspect of the horned frog, and I stuck to the big headedness of a horned frog more betterly, and I also allowed the water lilies on its body to fully sprout and I relaxed on the minmi aspects of the design (i fully removed the tail which was getting shorter)

The Fire Starter

#0004: Charmander - The Lizard Pokémon

Charmander is an interesting case as I learned through Bulbapedia that there is a mythological tie between salamanders and fire, specifically in Europe where coincidentally the European Dragon was created, which is very clearly the inspiration for Charizard, so I added aspects of the California Slender Salamander (specifically for the long tail), the European dragon (get that shit in early), and a snake (because a lot of dragons are snakes and also forked tongue that can be on fire)

#0005: Charmeleon - The Flame Pokémon

Charmeleon's og design is honestly my favourite of the original starter trio, but i always thought it looked nothing like Charizard and I felt as if I should make a better one, so added a Pterosaur aspect to the wing design to connect that aspect and I overall tried to make my Charmeleon appear more like an inbetween stage (and if you'll notice the hind legs got shorter)

#0006: Charizard - The Flame Pokémon

by this point I fully leaned into the European dragon aspects, removing the legs and broadening the wings, but I tried to keep the salamander aspect since in every image I found the California Slender Salamander was coiling its body and tail in eccentric ways, so there you go

The Water Starter

#0007: Squirtle - The Tiny Turtle Pokémon

I looked up what the minogame was and that's such a interesting fucking yokai to be wasted on Squirtle who is literally just a turtle and who LOOSES THAT DESIGN ELEMENT BY BLASTIOISE, so I added it back into the design as well as trying (and maybe failing?) to mix in some tank designs that relate to the final evo

#0008: Wartortle - The Turtle Pokémon

Wartortle always looked odd to me but I reckoned that it was trying to emphasise the minogame aspects, so for my Wartortle I tried to emphasise the minogame's algae growing from the shell (which may be inspired by terrapins breathing through their anuses underwater making bubbles) and I did what you see below with the wave tail becoming very etherial

#0009: Blastoise - The Shellfish Pokémon

i don't know why it's called the shellFISH Pokémon but whatever I decided to lean into this fighting machine design by Leonardo da Vinci as well as allowing the algae tail part to transform into a mystical dust cloud kicked up by the Blastoise tank because I fucking can

The Bugs

#0010: Caterpie - The Worm Pokémon

we all know that Caterpie is based off of the caterpillars who mimic snakes, right? well I decided to lean into that because that snake head is effectively their shoulders since their real head can hide underneath it so there you go

#0011: Metapod - The Cocoon Pokémon

i saw what the Spicebush Swallowtail crysalises look like and guys why isn't Metapod Bug/Grass it would fit so well, but alas I didn't wanna change types so here it is (the dots align on it's frontside the back looks like a leaf)

#0012: Butterfree - The Butterfly Pokémon

instead of completely changing what kind of butterfly Caterpie turns into I just kept it as a Spicebush Swallowtail

#0013: Weedle - The Hairy Pokémon

I decided to take the title into consideration for the first time as well as defining Weedle as a parasitoid wasp specifically

#0014: Kakuna - The Cocoon Pokémon

Paracodrus apterogynus is a type of parasitoid wasp and their pupae look like Kakuna's og design so that's why I made it that one (unfortunately it does not stay at that wasp because I found a better one)

#0015: Beedrill - The Poison Bee Pokémon

Megarhyssa macrurus lunator is a very pretty parasitoid wasp anf it already looks like a drill, and the Pokémon's name is in fact BeeDRILL, so that's why it's that one now, and I don't got much else to say so...

Makeup inspired by Garchomp

i studied garchomp for a few minutes and decided to try and emulate its colour scheme into makeup thingy but i can only draw it because im bad at makeup

This is Farah, an autistic girl from Gaza who is almost sixteen years old, though you wouldn't say it from her stature. Farah has experienced stunted growth due to her chronic kidney problems.

Her kidneys leak potassium, putting her at severe risk of becoming deficient. Before I started a fundraiser for her and her family, her potassium was dangerously low and she had started to experience muscle weakness in her leg. Her mother wasn't able to afford the right amount of potassium supplements for her, so she was rationing them, only giving her daughter 1/3 of the required dose.

Muscle weakness is a known complication of hypokalemia (which is the fancy word for potassium deficiency), and can be fatal if it affects one's heart (since it is also a muscle). The worst complication is therefore cardiac arrest.

I sometimes think about how close Farah might have been to death and shudder. Luckily we didn't have to find out. I started Farah's fundraiser and we managed to get enough donations for one month's worth of potassium supplements. And the next month, and the next,...

Until this month. Farah's mother Wesal (@shahdgazza) has been telling me that she's having trouble getting access to the medication. She is not the only person in Gaza who has told me there is a scarcity of certain medications. A couple of weeks ago, she was able to get her hands on a strip of potassium pills that expired four months ago. It's better than nothing, though. Then last week she was able to buy another ten tablets, but each one cost $10. Wesal has started rationing the supplements again.

If Farah's potassium levels get dangerously low again, she might need to be hospitalised to be supplemented intravenously. This is something we really want to avoid, because it is very stressful for Farah! But we also need to make sure we can afford it if she does have to go to the hospital.

Please donate to help Farah! If you cannot donate, at least share her story. We need to make sure we have the money to buy the medication when it becomes available or pay for hospitalisation if it is needed.

Farah deserves a chance to live, to grow, to laugh again. Your compassion today could be the miracle that saves her tomorrow.
