People kinda just ignore that asexual characters are asexual

One thing I noticed during my time in various fandoms is how often asexuality is erased or not taken seriously even in very queer spaces. There’s an abundance of smut and sexually explicit material revolving around canonically asexual characters, completely disregarding their stated sexuality. And yes, Ive heard lots of counter points along the lines of “people can write whatever they want” (I don’t disagree with this principle, just to be clear) “stop being conservative”, but let me propose you a hypothetical. What if it was that someone wrote a canonically gay character as being heterosexual? Suddenly it feels like a bit of a bigger deal, which is weird because it’s two examples of the exact same thing (erasing representation of an already underrepresented group).

There’s an undeniable stereotype that asexuality is not real, just a phase, just people being prissy, just someone who hasn’t found their person, and that it’s something that can and will eventually change. It really doesn’t help asexual people beat the stigma when their own community is acting like it’s a placeholder sexuality instead of a valid one. No one is stopping you from writing smut about asexual characters, if you couldn’t then I wouldn’t have anything to complain about. I just think the number of people doing this exemplifies how asexuality is not taken seriously by other queer people and it would be nice if everyone could treat it the same as they’d treat any other orientation.

Zanka it's a hig elf, referencing his family and status in canon. He is a Way of the Astral self monk who, insted of habing a Jojo' Stand uses his astral projection to invoque Lovelly Assistaff YAY

I thought of this au and think that they both meet at a tabern and JAbber tried to "seduce" Zanka, but they insted end up causing a bar fight, either way Jabber's plan is going, because he theft what he needed, Team's Akuta bag of holding, wich is the bag that zanka is wearing. Mind you, that bag has VERY IMPORTANT SHIT like, very important magic relics that can be pretty dangerous, so yeah... I thouht of all the team akuta and the raiders in this au, but i dont have neither images nor Its the topic, because this is JANKA YAY so yeah, @janka-week day 2 finished YAY
