I could write a whole paper about why I hate the concept of the “mom friend” so much. It genuinely sucks so much.

Assortment of random headcanons about Rhonda of mine :3

-Autistic but of course undiagnosed with her being a girl in the 60s

-she had a mild case of polio when she was little, doesn’t really remember it all that well

-before she met Joyce she went out with a guy for a few months and she secretly kinda hated him. She dumped him immediately after and avoided him at all costs until she died

-Marjorie was her only real friend while alive and was kinda in love with her (not that she realized at the time)

-her parents had less then a year after graduating college, they got married right before her dad got drafted for ww2

-was briefly “friends” a group of girls who were subtly bullying while she was trying to fit in

-thought if she fit in and kept up with the trendiest fashion she could hide that she’s autistic

-her mom also liked to dress her up kinda like a doll and would buy her new clothes and shoes as her way of showing love

-always wanted a cat but her parents wouldn’t let her because they thought it would scratch up the furniture
