Default replacement school board | Improved lettering
I didn't want to completely overhaul the original drawings/writings – they're already really cool. The goal was different: to keep that signature Sims school vibe while making it a little easier on the eyes.
🖍️ I updated the textures – cleaner lines, neater strokes, and added some small details – where it used to be empty, there's now something fun (like magnets on the board).
The original style is still there, but it's had a “restyling” :)
After adding the file to your Mods folder, the in-game textures will be replaced automatically. Please read the instructions carefully!
❗Important: this is a default replacement, which means: only one such replacement file can be in your Mods folder. After adding the file, the textures will swap automatically. If you don't like it, simply delete the file.

** These Deco Sims are somewhat high-poly (such is the nature of Deco Sims, even with decimation) so, please keep that in mind before you download anything! They also lean a little into my Sim style (mainly bigger features, shadow/detail on the face, Maxis-Mix Style, etc.) so if this doesn't blend with your Sim style; you can always camouflage them with other deco sims or use their silhouettes!

Supernova Eyes are soft default replacement eyes that are evocative of my Clover Eyes for The Sims 4. To complement the defaults, I also created 4 new eye highlights that add extra depth.

Apparently there's a limit of 50 mods (downloaded from the workshop) to be loaded at a time by Paralives. Downloaded Households and Lots count to that limit unfortunately. So if you have mods disappearing from the game and not showing up in the "Mods" list, that's probably why (it was happening to me and was driving me CRAZY).
Here's a workaround:
I'd recommend doing this just to Households & Lots only. DON'T DO IT TO MODS and custom content, in case the creator updates their mods you won't receive them.

In the 12th May update The Sims 4 introduced a new CAS category dedicated to accessory tops, called Base Layer. This way you no longer have to give up on gloves if your sim wants to wear a CC accessory top. (Originally all my accessory tops and chains were located under the Gloves catalogue so your sim couln't wear them at the same time. Downloading the new updated versions is not a necessity, if you like them located under the gloves section or you haven't updated your game to this patch yet you can ignore this post! ^^ )
After making a poll checking preferences, I decided to make a new, standalone version of my already existing accessory tops and body chains located under this new category. This way you can have the old (gloves) version and new (base layer) version at the same time and I noticed you can even layer two accessories this way hehe but if you no longer need the old gloves category version, you have to manually delete it. The file name changed the following way - I added the BaseLayerUpdate suffix to the original filename. Example:
Trillyke_Superstar_Waist_Chain_Belts.package - old file, located under the Gloves section
Trillyke_Superstar_Waist_Chain_Belts_BaseLayerUpdate.package - new file in this bundle, located under the new base layer catalogue

Accessories like sleeve accessories and arm warmers I didn't touch, I feel they still fit more under the gloves section. Accessory chains however I updated, bodychains will be layered under tops, while waist and belly chains will be layered over clothing, as originally intended. Not on the preview, but I also updated the two male frame accessory tops I made in the past.
The file is a ZIP file containing 38 package files, make sure you unzip it and move everything to your Mods folder! ✨

I have absolutely no explanation for why I decided to make a huge bunch of books in different variations, but... maybe your Sim is a total bookworm, so I hope they’ll be happy to have their room completely covered in books ❤️
Oki. I made these animations back in February, and was all ready to share them until I encountered an issue and gave up on the whole thing. I know no one likes the blah blah but please read the details below the cut so you know what you're downloading.
This is a regular animation that is used via Pose Player, not a Wicked Whims animation, so the Sim must be equipped with the glimmerstone accessory in CAS.
What This Pack Contains:
Three looping animations, all with silent and speaking versions. Two of them involve summoning/banishing the glimmerstone, and the other just rotates it. This one is glitch-free 😅
You will need:
- Pose Player
- Pose Alignment mod / Teleport Any Sim
- glimmerstone acc by @electricwhims (found in left wrist)
- any chair for the sitting upright animations, and a chair with arms for the lounging one! I made it with the SimplicitEase base game armchair and it may clip with others.

Basically! The 'magic trick' with the glimmerstone accessory is created by sending it away/calling it back very quickly, from a distance. I have this set to the smallest keyframe possible, but sometimes, the way the game renders means it will catch that keyframe and you might see the acc flicker briefly near the floor. After trial and error I got this to where it was a very rare occurrence, but then I tried filming without Gshade for the public release and oh no! Without Gshade almost imperceptibly slowing my laptop, the glitch happened a lot. So I decided it wasn't good enough to share.
...Then I realised that a lot of stuff is paywalled every day that isn't 100% and maybe I, a free creator, can just share the thing I worked really hard on. My video shows how they're supposed to look, I've obviously added transitions between the different video clips but I haven't edited the actual animations themselves! The glow in the last animation is created with Relight!
Ways To Limit The Glitch:
+ If you have a very powerful computer or if you don't use Gshade/Reshade then the glitch may happen anyway, but I've noticed that it's more likely to occur at the start of the animation, so maybe let it run once or twice first. All the animations are looping so hopefully you will get at least one loop where the game misses that keyframe.
+ The first animation shown in my video is the most likely to glitch, perhaps because it's much longer than the rest. You can see in my video that even though the acc appears as it should, there's a funny thing happening with shadows.
+ The glitch almost always appears near to the floor, so you may have to zoom in and just film a profile shot.
