The authors barely concealed historical fixation
Memento mori: doodled skeleton death holding an hour glass (Engelberg, Stiftsbib 339)
It's not too late to suppress all of your wants and desires and to die unfulfilled and afraid without anyone ever having really known you.
streets are saying in 2026 everyone is going to get less into fictional media and more into dead guys from real life

rest in peace branwell brontĂ« you wouldâve loved mathilda by mary wollstonecraft shelley
Hi my name is Patrick Branwell BrontĂ« and I have wild firey ginger hair (thatâs how I got my name) with bangs that I brush upwards to help my height and icy blue eyes like limpid tears and a lot of people tell me I look like Northangerland (AN: if u donât know who he is get da hell out of here!). Iâm not related to Lord Byron but I wish I was because heâs a major fucking hottie. Iâm a Victorian man but my teeth are mostly straight and white. I have pale white skin. Iâm also an author, and I write novels and stories from all around Haworth, especially The Black Bull pub (Iâm also a poet). Iâm an artist too (in case you couldnât tell) and I wear mostly greens and browns. I love alcohol and my OCs - they inspire all my clothing choices. For example today I was wearing a little green coat, brown tight trousers, and my tiny oval glasses. I was walking to The Black Bull pub. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. My sisters stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

just watched to walk invisible . i am so sad now
2026 will be the year when i become a real person
its such a branwell time of year for me and i havent been talking about him enough
There is something deeply bittersweet about getting so invested in the life and works of someone who is long gone. You read about them, you collect informations, you think you know them, but your knowledge will always be incomplete. We base our perception on what we have, which sometimes is not very much. You cannot know how they really looked like (if they lived before the invention of photography) or how their voice sounded. A million little details you would like to know. You can grasp something of their lives if you are lucky enough to have personal objects, diaries, letters preserved... but even then it's not enough. They lived, they breathed like you do, and now they are gone. You both walked on the same earth but there are centuries separating you. There is a certain ache in that.
[flirting] i bruise easily and my bones are strung together with the flimsiest of silk embroidery thread
