My intention for being on Tumblr
My gorgeous, smart and milliennialistic (is that even a word?!) niece told me all about Tumblr during my business trip where I hired her as my traveling nanny - ha!
I was sharing with her how I really wanted a platform where I could simply write all of my thoughts about marriage, holistic health, obesity, being a feminist, motherhood etc. without holding anything back.
And right away she said “Oh my gosh, Aunt Brenda! You need to be on Tumblr!”
I said “really?... okay, why?”
And she explained that basically everyone that’s on Tumblr is a lot more open about their thoughts and typically hold nothing back. She mentioned that Tumblr is more like a personal diary. So I said, what the hell? I’ll give it a shot.
Therefore, my intention for being on Tumblr is to let it ALL out. I’m holding nothing back when it comes to women empowerment, being a modern driven woman that does it all - don’t get all crazy on me... I ain’t no super woman but I sure do handle a lot of shit. I have a corporate career, health coaching business, a 3 year old son, and a 5 month old bebe - and let’s not forget my handsome husband.
The truth is life is amazing and it also kinda sucks at certain moments. I’m just keepin’ it real with you. But the truth is that we have a choice as to how we choose to react to everything. So that’s it for tonight. I think I’ll also write a lot about my spiritual journey, bitch about corporate politics (without being politically correct), and about holistic health.
Let me know what questions you have. Adios!
