As always, the Irish speak nothing but facts.
How many more innocent civilians have to be killed by Israel before you condemn that for it?
That is a genocide.
That this is a crime on all accounts.
And deserves to be punished to the full extent off the law.
Here are a few ways to take action for some English-speaking countries. I encourage you to Google petitions, politicians' contact info, etc. if your country isn't here:
🌎 INTERNATIONAL
1. Sign the Petition to the UNSC Join this petition of 630 nonprofits who are calling on the UN Security Council and all world leaders to condemn Israel's actions and act to save lives. 2. Find Your Local Protest This site is updated daily with global protest locations, links, and info 3. Donate This site has a list of trusted organizations. You can search for your country's branch if you'd like your donation to be tax deductible. 4. BDS: Boycott and Support BDS is a Palestinian-led movement that calls for equality via Boycotts, Divestment, and Sanctions. Select your country to find out what orgs near you have been highlighted by BDS, and which companies BDS is boycotting.
🇺🇸 USA
1. Sign The Petition Ask Joe Biden to publicly call for an immediate ceasefire. 2. Email Congress This 30-second form allows you to find your representatives with a single click and demand a ceasefire (the US sends Israel billions in aid and has more power than any other country to stop Israel). It automatically fills in a general email message that can be customized as much as you want. 3. Call Your Rep Select your state to find your Senators, and call them to ask for a ceasefire. If you want to leave a message instead of talking to a staffer, you can call late at night. I recommend doing the email first to find your Reps if you don't know yours. Here's a call script from the bottom of the CeasefireToday page:
4. Call Your Senator Enter your zip code and this page will give you the email and phone numbers of your Senators. You can contact them and tell them you want a ceasefire. 5. CeasefireToday.com is a hub for great resources for US folx to contact politicians, donate, volunteer, etc. It also lists which Representatives have already called for a ceasefire.
🇬🇧 UK

Email Leaders and Your MP Enter your address and this will send an email on your behalf to your local MP, Trudeau, and to party leaders all at once. It fills in a general email that you can edit as much as you want. 4. Call Your MP Fill in your address in this tool and click "Make the Call". It will automatically patch you through to your MP based on your address so you can tell them to push for a ceasefire. This tool will also display suggested talking points on-screen to help you.
🇦🇺 AUSTRALIA
1. Email Your Federal Reps This tool will send an email on your behalf to your local MP, Senators, Foreign Minister, and the Greens spokesperson for Foreign Affairs. It auto-fills a general email message that you can customize as much as you'd like. 2. Sign the Change.Org Petition Demand that Australia retract support of Israel, and "sanction Israel in order to fulfil its duty to the international community and Palestinian civilians, as outlined by the UN". 3. Call Your Senators and Members Search by post code to find your politicians, and give them a call. If you need ideas on what to say, I recommend looking at the email message from the Australia Palestine Advocacy Network or Refugee Council of Australia's letter to the Prime Minister.
