If you have to be drunk to tell me something out of honesty, you've got problems.

And don't even start with the "power of alcohol" or some other derivative of that phrase, because you're saying that alcohol is essentially 'fixing' something or 'helping' by making something easier to say. If that's the case, then you're either broken (e.g. need fixing) or you've got problems (because you need help, nonetheless from alcohol).

Grow up.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day has faded in its importance. Now don't get me wrong, I had a great one this year with my girlfriend, but in commonplace, it has lost its meaning.

Come on, what means more to you, when your significant other gives you something and says:

"Hey baby, I got this for you because it's Valentine's Day..."

           -or when it's any other day and says-

"Hey baby, I got this for you because I saw it while I was out and I thought of you..."

Yeah.

Off-Tangent #2

Hiding something in fear of potential conflict is just a cop out. You're just chickening out because you can't handle being truthful. Now, privacy and keeping unnecessary ideas to yourself is a valid claim, but I'm not talking about that here.

You really shouldn't hide truths because time will reveal them all, especially to people you're close to like your friends, people you live with, etc.

Feel-Good Stuff #1

When Korean 'ajusshis' (middle-aged men) who are friends take out their wallets and argue with each other as to who pays the bill for dinner at a restaurant. Usually they could both use the saved money because they're all struggling to make ends meet.

Some things are just more important than money.

Annoying Stuff #1

Girls who call themselves bitches. Now I mean no disrespect by this post, I don't refer to girls or women using that term, but there are some girls (obviously not women) who do.

They call themselves "badass bitch" or some other derivative form of using the word bitch with a "positive" connotation. Yeah it's tough being a girl and sometimes you gotta stand up for yourself and you may be judged in those moments as a bitch, but using that word in self-attribution is immature and stupid.

In my opinion, those girls who believe to be a "bitch" (and think that it's a good thing) are generally not liked by others, but use that word to cast the blame of them not being liked to other people when they're the ones with the problems. They of course do this to feel better about themselves because they're way too arrogant for any introspection, maintaining the delusional aspects of their life.

I don't care what excuse you may have, but no one likes a bitch.

Self-interested and self-centered individuals create a rippling effect of influence. The people that they hurt eventually realize there's no benefit in being selfless. Eventually they adopt and embrace this attitude as their own, amplifying the effect from ripple to wave....and the virtue of goodness dissolves in the chaos, forgotten for vices more "rewarding."
