what does star wars mean to me? well let’s set a scene first.

it’s winter. everyone’s depressed, you’re cold all the time, it’s freezing, it’s cloudy, it gets dark at like 3pm. you cannot wait for it to be over. but then suddenly there’s a miraculous ray of sunshine coming through the window. and it makes you feel warm, it’s familiar and it hits all the right spots. it’s exactly what you needed. that, for me, is star wars.
