A collection of tiny tales for cosy teatime reading...
Marmalade is a mysterious wood witch who dwells in a hollow red tree deep in the wilds of Faewood.
Her companion (and self-appointed apprentice), Marmot, is a chaotic woodland critter with a penchant for mischief and mossy baked goods.
Together they confront the dangers of the forest, learn new magics, share tea by the hearthside, and find a sense of family that stands the test of time.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy your time in this cosy pocket-sized realm ✨
A witch might call upon the spirits of honey and nectar to ease the path of wishes. She might sing to the spirits of moonlight, might draw upon those shining ghosts, so her garden might flourish in winter. She might croon to the midnight owl, a scrap of black against starlit black, so he might gift her a feather for her spellcraft.
A witch might do all this and more, and still ache for the mysteries beyond her power. Secrets withheld, just beyond the veil. She might yearn for a keyhole through to another world, where light spills in oceans, and the tides tell the stories of every little boat they’ve swallowed down. She might yearn for six more colours and sweet, cottoned air that holds onto its music forever.
She might ask her own simple moon to light the way to such a world, and find that her dreams the next evening usher her to realms which exceed her asking.
When the witch wakes, she might find her soul enlivened, yet entirely uncertain whether such magics were ever real.
The witch might smile, and thank the moon for the gift of such a mystery.
