Your posts about school and the white people, send me right back to my freshman year. I went to Roanoke college. 50 fucking minorities in the incoming class and then 20 of them ended up transferring. I graduated with around ten black people in my class.I had classes where these assholes still called black folks colored. So needless to say I feel your pain for sure. I went in school loving white folks graduated wishing I had just gone to Spelman,
Damn man. My ass stayed sleepin on HBCUs during my senior year in high school. Now Iâm atuck with a rational of 20,000 to 800. And black folks are the biggest minority group here. Shit Iâm scared
It's about time I made one of these, yeah?

F.A.Q
Q: What is this?
A: Quitland; my weird experiment that involves an island in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream with 60 Mii's that are all the exact same as each other. Every single Mii is named "Quit", then with a number to specify which Quit they are. There's the first Quit, dubbed "Original Quit", and then 59 more Quits. Each Quit develops slightly differently from the last, so you never know what they're going to do...
All Quits are based on him ^. "The One True Original Quit", who exists on my main save file prior to making Quitland. Every single one has the same face, personality, voice, dating preferences, birthday, and event outfits as this Quit.
Q: Are there ANY differences between the 60 Quits?
A: Only one. That being their gender. Quit 1 is male, Quit 2 is female, and Quit 3 is nonbinary. From there the rest of the Quits were added in gender order; with Male being first, Female being second, and Nonbinary being third. So Quits 4-22 are male, 23-41 are female, and 42-60 are nonbinary. This means there's a perfect even split between the three in-game gender options, being 20 of each. So if you're ever curious on what gender a Quit is, most lower numbers are male, higher numbers are nonbinary, and everything in-between is female.
Q: Does the island have any rules?
A: Quitland has one main rule: I must interfere with the Quits lives as little as possible. This means I can't pick a Quit up and force them to interact with another Quit, they have to choose to do so. This also means I can't give a Quit food, clothing, or a treasure unless they ask me to. I can only act on what the Quits request, so if a Quit is wearing a different piece of clothing that means they asked me for clothes (I also try and stay as accurate to what the Quit asks for if I can, if a Quit asks for "cool clothes" I try to give them cool clothes).
Q: How is leveling up handled? What do you give the Quits?
A: I started this without having any specific rules for leveling up in mind, but as I progressed I began giving Quits little quirks that best fit their personality and the actions they had taken throughout the island. A particularly flirty Quit would get the quirks that made them look cuter, for example. As far as I can tell, these quirks don't seem to have an impact on how Quits interact, although more testing is needed.
Q: Can I add Quit to my island/can I draw Quit?
A: Of course!!! Never hesitate to create your own Quit, he is a creature of the people and anyone is free to use him on their own islands! You can follow the Quit Creation guide linked above if you want, or you can make him your own way! And I'm open to fan art of any kind (so long as its not hateful towards anyone, of course). You can post fan art in my asks and I'll always answer making it visible on my page, or you can post it yourself and use the #Quitland tag so I don't miss it!
Q: Can I send you a question about Quitland?
A: My ask page is always open, so anyone can always ask a question about Quit whenever they want! But I must specify that I won't answer every question, either because I have no interesting answer to give or I simply don't know what to say.
Q: Who's Original Quit?
A: Original Quit is basically just "Quit 1", the first Quit added to the island. He's called "Original" by the other Quits, and because of the fact that he was used during the games tutorial he is usually a higher level than the rest. He is also the first Quit to get into a relationship, that being with Quit 3!
At the time of writing this, Original looks like this:
Q: Who's Quit 28 and Quit 48?
A: Those two are Quits that have had an ongoing relationship arc for multiple episodes. They started on episode 1, with Quit 48 having a crush on Quit 28. It then began steadily developing through most episodes after that..you'll have to read the posts to know more...
At the time of writing this, 28 and 48 look like this (48 is on the left, 28 is on the right):
Q: Who's Quit 35?
A: Oh boy...Quit 35 is a bit of a playboy Quit. She has a track-record for quickly falling in and out of love with numerous other Quits. It's possible she's just fickle, but some say her love is so great she can't contain it within just one Quit...her constant new crushes have developed her a bit of a small fan group.
At the time of writing this, 35 looks like this:
Q: Who's Quit 27?
A: 27 is a Quit who frequently gets into fights and seems to always be angry when walking around the island. They've gained a bit of a reputation as the island asshole...and trust me, they deserve the reputation. Oh, and 27 is also my favorite number...yay!
At the time of writing this, 27 looks like this:
Q: Who are the "Ice-Cream Sandwich Society"?
A: The ICSS is a group of 3 Quits, who are all members of a self-proclaimed "Ice-Cream Sandwich Society". They can all be easily picked out in a crowd by their costumes. The members include Quit 39 (Biker Quit), Quit 36 (Demon Quit), and Quit 57 (Chicken Quit). The three frequently hang out, and are a pretty memorable bunch.
Q: Who's Quit 11?
A: 11 is a notable Quit for being very friendly by Quit standards. Quits naturally conflict with one another and will easily fall into small arguments, because of this many of them only have small friend groups of 1-3. However, 11 is the outlier with an impressively large number of friends! Generally a likable Quit, a rarity amongst this hardy group.
At the time of writing this, Quit 11 looks like this:
Q: Who's "The One True Original Quit"?
A: Not to be confused with "Original Quit", this is the ACTUAL first Quit. The Quit I made on my Wii all those years ago, and the one who resides on my main Living the Dream island. One of his more memorable features is his speaking quirk, he starts sentences with "Start" and ends them with "Cease", something Quit 1 on Quitland has also adopted. He's a bit of a religious figure to the Quits on Quitland, who are all clones of this the True Original Quit. Billboards of the True Original Quits creation can be found across the island, which is largely what sparked his God-like status amongst the Quits. What True Original Quit thinks of the Quitland clones is unclear...or if he even had a hand in their creation at all.
Hello! I absolutely love your art!!! Honestly your style inspires me so much.
How do you manage to have a somewhat realistic proportions but still have it cartonny? I just love it and wich i could do it but don't know how.... any tips?
Anyways i hope you have an awesome day! <3
Thank you! That means a lot.
I'm not going to pretend even for a second that I know how to teach this stuff or that I have any kind of refined technique. I just kinda throw shit at the wall and sometimes it sticks :P I never went to classes or anything like that.
I personally like focusing on gesture over structure. How can I express body language in as few as lines as possible? Doing figure studies of IRL humans can help build your visual library, as well as studying the art styles you like. I like to closely examine animations and artbooks of animated projects. I'm inspired by a big range of things, from certain chibi animes to Looney Tunes type stuff.
Every time I get into a piece of media, I take the time to trace and copy my fave characters. First I trace it, then I try to copy it again next to the reference image, then I try to draw it from memory. The more I draw a character, the style slowly evolves to fit my vibes. I also (privately) copy and deconstruct art that I find and like to try to learn from it.
If I had to guess what makes something Cartoony, I would say:
-Bigger heads and bigger eyes than you expect
-Readable, recognizable silhouette
-Exaggerate the shapes used to build the body

this reminds me of that time Plato defined humans as âfeatherless bipedsâ and Diogenes ran in with a plucked chicken screaming âBEHOLD A MAN!â
Zeus: *hits joint* okay so like. Itâs gonna have a duck bill right. But an otter body okay? And then a beaver tail. Itâs a mammal. But. It lays eggs!
Hades: wait wait dude. Give it. Give it poison. Make it poisonous
Athena: You mean venomous, and make sure the eggs have both reptile and bird traits.
Hermes: *takes the joint* Give it extra senses.
Poseidon: It should be aquatic.
