I haven't done this in a while. Indulge in a lazy #Sunday #breakfastinbed. I never know if I should be glad for technology or not, because this morning the first thing I saw was a picture of your handsome face but you were not next to me. And it makes me so very happy that I can see you anytime I want, but it also makes so incredibly frustrated because I can't touch you.

When I was in second grade I transferred school for the first time. 

In my old school we had mid morning snacks provided everyday, in the new one we didn’t and of course my mom didn’t know.

But then, on my first day in a new class where I knew literally nobody, there was this girl, she sat behind me, and, as soon as she realized I had no food, she instantly gave me half of whatever she had brought that day. I vaguely remember it to be a cereal bar or something like that. 

For the following month or so, my mom made me go with two snacks for mid morning break, hoping this girl would take one and feel like I had paid her back.

I don’t think she ever accepted. Nor I was quick enough to lie to my mom about it so she’d stop with the entire drama of the missing snacks already. 

This episode randomly came to mind today and in a way I wish both that relationships were as easy as sharing a snack with someone you don’t even know and that I was the same person that didn’t think about lying to make others happy.
