i had to work with The Fucking Spike from 2017 to 2025 and it's a miracle i never damaged anything. up until of course i stopped using the tablet for over 3 weeks and the apple pencil just like, died from planned obsolescence. they do that, btw, the battery is designed to just Fail if you stop using it for 3 weeks to a month. by the way.

Idk if this is a "grew up poor" thing or just a symptom of how I was raised or who I am as a person but one thing about me is that I Will be digging through people's trash for things. I will also often find things when I go digging. Tonight's score: a wholeass record player with a broken arm and a wonky speaker. Both these issues took me like 20 minutes to fix. I now have a working record player, $0 spent.
