On the bad nights, when things are too quiet and too loud all at the same time,

I really just miss the back road adventures. Music that’s too loud, nighttime that is too dark. Laughter that is raw.

That is what I miss.

The opportunity too feel too much with someone trusted.

I don’t have that here. And most days it makes me feel a little lost.

Maybe I’ll just sleep in my car tonight. I can’t do anything right anymore. Being in the house just feels like I’m going to mess something else up.

Even doing something as simple as making dinner goes wrong.

Most days it’s a struggle to even get out of bed. Most days I don’t want to wake up.
