I found a reddit post with some more photos and yeah I guess the cat just does that??

I was SURE this cat was fake so I had to track this cat down. Her name is Lady Storm and she's a purebred Maine Coon with an Instagram @ladystorm2020 and she does in fact Just Sit Like That. Like she also sits normally sometimes. And loafs. And walks. I notice that even as a kitten she sometimes sits with her legs stretched out.

I'm not sure if something is wrong with her legs or hips, I can't find anything she might have said about it. I'll say that she's a purebred Maine coon and spinal atrophy is the most common hereditary issue they face, and just to my layman's eyes from looking at examples it looks like this kind of stiff legs and weird sitting looks like it a lot. I'll also say again like. She's a purebred cat from a cattery. Those are expensive. I kind of assume that she's getting plenty of vet care and if she has a medical condition her owner knows and is doing whatever should be done about it.
