Its with unmistakable hesitance that Bucky lets that hand be LIFTED, but he likes to WATCH as TJ’s fingers trace slowly around joints and over plates. Bucky can only FEEL so much there. There’s the slow drag of contact that he wouldn’t be able to decipher as skin if he weren’t LOOKING at it. There’s the steady radiant HEAT that would fade as soon as the touch were gone. There’s the pressure INDICATIVE that he were trying to grasp something. 

Bucky likes to try and  c o n v i n c e  himself that he would know it was TJ’s hand in his ;; realistically, that was unlikely. A string of emotions DANCE across the brunet’s face that James doesn’t know well enough  just yet  to place.
