Should I just change parts of my script (the lines from the characters for my new show) ?
I have a feeling that the dialogue makes NO sense whatsoever. Yes or no.

A voice actor for Queen Seline has been announced!!
Queen Seline is taken by @broserpina on Tumblr also known as dan1ka.walker on YouTube. Now Alice, Queen Callista, and Queen Seline are taken. Everyone else is still open. Auditions close Monday April 13th. That is in two days. Better hurry. If nobody else auditions, I will move the deadline to May 17th 2026.
For the new people: I am making a show called Sparkling Starglow. Sparkling Starglow is an indie animated magical girl series about these three young adults that find this star that falls out of the sky. Later, they find out that she is a magical star girl.
If you are willing to audition, follow me on Tumblr and see my pinned post. My pinned post has the Google doc links to both voice acting and music making.
What you will need to do:
For voice acting: Go to my voice acting link and there you see the characters voice lines link. Click on a character of your choice and there you see the image of the character. Scroll down under the image and you see all of the lines that I gave them. You will need to record the character with a screen recording app and say the lines with emotion and expression. When you are done, post it on Tumblr with a #voiceactingforfantasystarshine with a hashtag character you chose. Or if you want, you can message me your audition on tiktok.
For music making: Go to my music making link and there you see the explanation. I am not really that great at explaining it so I would like to apologize for that. You need a music making app to record your music. Make your music as original the best you can. When you are done, you can post it on Tumblr with a #musicmakingforfantasystarshine or you can message me your video here on tiktok.
You will need to be 15 or older to do this.
DO NOT USE AI TO VOICE ACT OR MAKE MUSIC! PLEASE MAKE YOUR MUSIC ORIGINAL AND ACT THE BEST YOU CAN! YOU CAN DO IT!
This is a non paid show but hopefully I can get it funded with the help of you guy's support for the series.
Please don't get upset if you don't get picked. There is room for other shows that I would like to make in the future.

I've been seeing bits of discourse float by about western magical girl works having an overly narrow reference pool (mostly just pmmm and sailor moon), and how that leads to over-fitted derivative works that ignore the breadth and depth of the genre (with the counterpoint being that those works are influential and well regarded for a reason).
But leaving aside all the actual discussion there, I'm now amusing myself by picturing the conclusions about What Magical Girl Shows Are Like one could get to by drawing exclusively from a reference pool of a couple random shows with absolutely no broader knowledge of the cultural imprint of magical girls. Like,
person who's only seen Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Mai-Otome, and Symphogear voice: magical girls are a sort of paramilitary special forces group attached to various governments, rulers, or international organizations. They may or may not hold formal military rank, but generally operate as a detached unit separate from more conventional troops.
person who's only seen My-HiME and Magical Girl Raising Project: I mean, magical girl shows are just Battle Royale knockoffs
person who's only seen Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Ilya: kinda weird how magical girls shows are just spinoffs of explicit visual novels
person who's only seen Precure Full Bloom and Magilumiere: the average magical girl protagonist is a career woman in her twenties
Person who has only seen Nanoha and Symphogear: Magical girls are EXACTLY like mecha!

Duffer Brothers managed to fuck up this show so bad that people genuinely believe the finale was a fake out and that they will have a secret episode 9 which will change everything.

kingdom hearts is a series that humbles you bc i promise you, I Promise You, no matter how much of it you know, you will never feel 100% confident in your understanding of the series. i kind of respect it for that. i love learning, and it's kind of fun to be an eternal student of something.
correction: you will never be confident unless you are this man in particular who is absolutely certain he knows what kingdom hearts is and is wrong
Corrector Yui x Tokyo Tower Exhibition will take place beginning November 14th (tomorrow) until November 27th. You can read more here.
