Marvel of Games: Venom Clarification
So as I mentioned in the first post; One of the ideas I had for the AU is Joey = Venom and wanted to be clear it isnt a Sony movie thing in which no Spider-Man existed but also Spider-Man is still Peter Parker.
So how the goop get to Japan? Well pulling something from the old comics when Peter first had the black costume as known then
So on this universe we take a similar approach and Reed studies the suit and takes it from Spider-Man for a time, whether Secret Wars happens still unsure, and then simply cause Reed is taking the Fantastic Four to do nebulous out of normal space time adventures he had the Symbiote sent to a collegue in Japan for further study.
From there it escapes containment after reaching Japan, current idea during a attempt to rob the shipment itself, with the Symbiote quickly finding the most compatible host in the area before it gives out and that's Joey.
After that at first it keeps tryinf to just Venom up and get back at Peter, even if maybe not as bad since isnt mixing with the powder keg of a personality that was Eddie Brock, but has the issue of not being able to swim an ocean and when approaching say an airport the sound is too bad for it to keep control.
So eventually a partnership is worked out between the Symbiote and at least this time a new host that hears it just in time for a lot of situations to start happening in which Venom a Maybe-Lethal Protector could come in.
