I really like the Orphan Barrel Forged Oak and when it comes to L.A. I’ll definitely be grabbing a bottle. The wood notes are nicely balanced out by sweeter and spicier notes and there is something about the overall character of the whiskey that sits just right with me. The $65 price tag Forged Oak is supposed to be sporting is also pretty darn nice, especially when compared to the other Orphan Barrel releases.

Britain is considering the removal of all alcohol services on their trains due to alcohol-related "platform-train interface" accidents (getting drunk and falling off of the train). They've had 21 deaths ... over 10 years. Not to be rude but that's probably less than the amount of drunk people killed by taxis..
Red Bull is suing Old Ox (a brewery that opened in June 2014- Virginia) because a bull is a castrated Ox and the logos are too similar. Seriously Red Bull? Go fuck yourself

The nose is s fruity peaty wonderland, the palate mimics the nose with a touch of spice and it finishes out in long slow drawl of peat with sweet and rustic flavors poking through. In other words, it’s a great whisky. I really enjoy everything about it and Springbank, for me, is one of those distilleries that I have enjoyed everything I’ve had from them. They just make good whisky and this is a great example of that.

Bud's harder to brew
There's no big malt body, bold hop flavor or punchy alcohol kick for off-flavors to hide behind. Furthermore, the skilled brewers at Anheuser Busch's gargantuan breweries achieve a level of consistency that any craft brewer should envy. Every Budweiser will taste the same as every other Budweiser, even if they are made at breweries 1,000 miles apart. That is no easy feat.
Maker's Mark is the latest distillery to have a Class-Action lawsuit against them. The lawsuit alleges that Maker's is marketed as being "handmade" but is actually an automated process.
Like gambling? Why not mix it with Jackpot Vodka? I'm not sure that mixing two potentially addictive activities - rewarding drinking by gambling credits is a smart move. Lets see how many lawsuits they get down the road..
