Was put into a nine year coma by a bomb implanted in a patient he was in charge of treating, was brainwashed by the man he respected most into believing that he was Big Boss and used as a decoy to draw the international heat for said man's warcrimes. So crushed by the guilt of failing to save the young patient that he begins hallucinating that she survived and talking to her phantom. Was forced to kill his own subordinates in order to stop a civilization-destroying plague. An undead pyrokinetic russian fascist tries to hunt him down as revenge for something he didn't do. Is sacrificed as part of a glorified training exercise to kickstart the career of the series' real protagonist.

RWBYxJSR: Proffesor Ozpin

Headmaster of the Art School of Beacon, Proffesor Ozpin is the legal guardian of Oscar and a long time friend of Qrow Branwen!

Ozpin has been taking care of Oscar since the beggining of the year due to him wanting to study art at Beacon but not being able due to him living in Mistral. His aunt Em happened to know Ozpin and convinced him to take care of the boy, he agreed after he saw his potential as an artist.

He's the one to blame for Oscar ending up in the skating team since he also used to be a skater and knows some things that the rest don't. He told Qrow that Oscar wasn't making a lot of friends and Qrow decided to welcome him to the group!
