Cedfia Week 2025 - Day 5 - Creature

This one’s a little more risqué than my usual Cedfia content🤭🫣. I was really dreading this prompt at first. Mostly because I don’t like animals, and I like drawing them even less. But then I realized, the word “creature” doesn’t have to mean animals. So I decided to take it in a more supernatural direction instead. I’ve always had a weakness for vampire romance, so this piece ended up being a little self-indulgent. To heighten the dramatic impact, I tried to emulate the style of a sort of vintage Gothic romance movie.

Cedfia Week 2025 - Day 3 - Merchandise

Cedfia Music Box 💞 🎶

I’m a big fan of unique merchandise, so when I was brainstorming for this prompt, I tried to come up with something I’d genuinely want to buy if it actually existed. I went through a few different ideas, but I finally landed on this, a music box. It’s the kind you wind up at the back, and while the music plays, the characters in the center spin around.

Cedfia Week 2025 - Day 2 - Localized 🇨🇦

I'm from Canada, and when it comes to culture, the first things that pop into my head are maple syrup and hockey. But what really stands out to me is our cold winters. That’s what I always associate most with home. I thought that could make a sweet jumping-off point for this: Cedfia snuggling on a snowy bench. ☺️ It takes me back to many of my dates growing up where we’d snuggle up in the cold outside, since heading home too soon meant getting caught by our parents.
